Turbug stares, one eye twitching slightly. “...t...thank you, Lurker. But you know it’s...uh...I-I just can’t, um, I...” He hedges, not wanting to openly admit to Lurker of all people that he’s not only not grateful, but also that he can’t stomach the thought of just gorging himself on a helpless, tied up victim. “...I-I mean, thank you for thinking of me, but where’s the fun in ready-made when you miss out on the thrill of the hunt?” He grinned crookedly and grimaced at the screaming.
Yeah, that special dragon spa you used to go to, with the ladies pampering you and stuff.
turbug: O-OH that was ag..grooming parlori could go there, yeah..........
Hm, why not go back to that spa? Or go out and hunt? Or maybe race with Ned? Just some suggestions to get your mind off things.
turbug: there’s a spa? ...am i forgetting a spa? i’m sure i could find a spa...i made that hot spring for roil. that might be nice...ted would like that too...

turbug: i...miss the kids. trying not to worry about them. i know roil can handle things. it’s just, as much as i want my freedom it’s been so long since i didn’t have to devote ALL my attention to those kids. i don’t really know what to do with myself.
turbug: it’s so quiet without the kids around.
everyone else has been quiet lately too...
turbug: so...tomorrow...
all of my kids are going off to spend the week with roil.
they’ll be gone overnight, for the whole week.
everything will be...fine.
they’re old enough. roil’s responsible. i’m a good parent.
i’m...i’m ok.

How are the kids doing so far since your return? More especially Gloria and Dash?
turbug: well i only just got back. i talked to them both. gloria seemed...optimistic. i told her roil would help teach her to hunt better and she seemed excited about that. i don’t deserve how nice she’s been.
dash is...don’t know. he’s a little...strange. but he always has been.
i offered to try and teach him about something he’s interested in but he didn’t give me much of an idea of what that might be. i think roil is right though. he needs something to keep his attention. idle hands and all...
