okay so starting off, its called scyiken but idc if you call it shuriscythe. ive always called it scyiken due to old "traditional" ship naming if you know what i mean and yes i do know shuriscythe "looks better" but scyiken rolls off the tongue and sounds cooler imo. yes i know their ages and theyre LEGAL adults and stop infanilizing shuriken it PISSES ME OFF SO BAD. ppl ship scythestaff when vine is one year older than her brother ok so scyiken started out as a crack ship bc id play phighting and scythe players would ALWAYS. ALWAYS. target me when i was shuriken. i joked about it with my friend until i was like "haha im gonna draw them" and since that day ive loved scyiken and became scyiken ceo!! i have my friends make me art of them and i have a dedicated folder on my computer FULL of (i think) EVERY piece of scyiken art ive made or my friend's have made. i have never seen anything of them from other ppl EVER before so siigh broken heart emoji but its ok.... scyiken makes me really really happy like the happiest i can ever be. ive started shaking because of art friends have made for me of them because i love scythe and shuriken together so much. if i see anything of them either interacting or even NEXT to eachother i get happy :) ok so about the ship itself idk how it wouldve started but basically scythe was "pestered" by shuriken a bunch and he'd hang around her when he was bored and it soon evolved into romantic feelings (shuriken's side). soon scythe realized she liked him too and its mainly "hey look at this funny guy im dating him" and mainly platonic but sometimes romantic, it depends. oouh i love platonic relationships!! not everything has to be sexual and plus theyre all freaking agender and genderless anyways and probably are all asexual too one thing i really am nervous about with showing scyiken to the world is that ppl are going to make them purely romantic and probably just see shuriken as "young boy who likes this older woman" OR "this older woman preying on this little boy" (hes not a little boy.) scythe isnt "preying" on him... ?? i also just think ppl are going to blow it up and then its gonna be shot down cuz ppl are gonna just make goon material and ill burn in hell forever. i love scyiken tho :)
