I’ve loved turn-based video games since I first put my hands around a gameboy color to play Pokemon: Yellow.
Something about the ability to stop and have space to plan shit out as opposed to the key/button smashing I usually do with most action games is akin to nirvana.
Yes, let me plan my moves. Yes, let me compare different strategies and feel like a general guiding her troops to victory. It sates my hunger for order and control ✨
That and farming games like Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley ☺️
