i have no idea but if he was involved in the specifics i feel like they'd have to be symbols for smth...? or maybe it's just all for fun who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i think there has to be certain symbolism - for example kites symbolise letting go or farewell to childhood and carolina is about girl who moved from her hometown to LA, ball-in-maze is obviously about being stuck and trying to escape and mmith is about being stuck in feelings to someone and trying to get better... idk...
