My husband’s friend got my son another pet. He gave him another turtle, this one is a painted turtle.

So we put him in the tank with Dusty, yes it’s big enough. So Dusty sees him and now he’s PISSED. I mean he’s stomping along the bottom of the tank, he’s making faces at us, he’s mad.

I know some of you might be like ‘uh it’s a turtle’, but Dusty is hella expressive. And now he’s the maddest I’ve ever seen him.

Sorry Dusty, you’ll get used to Godzilla and hopefully like having a friend.

Godzilla decided he wanted to meet Dusty, started walking up to him. Dusty turned around, Godzilla got one good look at his size and backed up.

It was like ‘didn’t mean to disrespect you sir’.

The funny thing is Godzilla will never be bigger than Dusty but that’s what the child wanted to name him.

A week ago my husband got twenty feeder guppies for Dusty. The next morning we had babies. (Crap) Downside, we now have a shitton of guppies in the tank with the turtle. Plus side, they are eating all the crumbs of his turtle food and the tank is cleaner. Dusty, please start eating the guppies before we end up with more!

So I’m watching Dusty and I see this little speck that is moving when he gets near it, so I look closer and it’s a freaking baby guppy! Yea some of the guppies that came home yesterday were small, but not that small, one of the guppies was pregnant. The kicker, I don’t know if Dusty ate any and now they are multiplying. *cries*

Today on turtle tv. Lol. Hubs got some feeder guppies to feed to Dusty, and Dusty is legit just letting them chill. He is walking up behind them and when they look at him he sticks his head up. I’m pretty sure he’s trying to lull the fish into complacency to which my husband replied that Dusty is a demented turtle and I just reminded him that the cats are the same way. It’s like look at the turtles family, do you expect less?

Dusty is really easing into the house and family. Lynx is sitting on top of Dusty’s tank watching him and Dusty is just happily swimming around, occasionally looking at Lynx. It’s so sweet & pure!
