Meet Jasper Rose, the now 6-year-old New England boy and full-fledged sea turtle superhero!

In anticipation of his 6th birthday, he told his parents he didn’t want any presents he just wanted to get more money for the sea turtle rescue program.

“The thing I like best is they’re kind of, like, beautiful, and they’re endangered so someone needs to rescue them,” he says.

Yep, Sea Turtles are Jaspers favorite animal and he knows that they are at risk of extinction. So instead of presents, he asked for donations and on April 2nd he visited the NEAQ and gave them a $600 donation for their Sea Turtle Hospital in Quincy.

He got a pretty cool present anyway, a chance to feed MYRTLE the 90-year-old sea turtle at the New England Aquarium.

Happy Birthday, Jasper!! The sea turtles are lucky to have a human like you on their side.
