THE PLANTS HAVE NOT DIED except for the ones in the left corner i can't remember the names of; they're not dead yet but they don't appear to be thriving either AND THE HORNWORT IN PARTICULAR IS GROWINGGGG unsurprising, hornwort is very good at that, but i'm excited and Turtle Kitty is delighted with her new cat TV :D

friends, you remember Turtle Kitty, of the big round eyes and soft paws

well.......Turtle has a new baby brother! please meet Soup Cat, who for now is just a little cup of soup but who will someday be a big tureen of chowder if those feet are any indication:

my wee little son is half-manx, and inherited the little-stubby-tail gene. he also inherited the oddly long hind legs, and has a very frog-like hopping run.

my slightly-less-wee little daughter is not at all happy about this extremely vocal interloper in her territory, but we're keeping them separated for the most part and have given Soup a home base in the office, per the advice of the internet and several friends who have successfully introduced cats over the years. so far, so good, so begin the adventures of Turtle and Soup!
