I read the World of the Five Gods series on your rec about a year ago. Ever since I've been all "read this it's so good" to my fantasy-reading friends. Because it's so good.

And for those who haven’t seen my rec, it’s here, and I have other posts about the series under this tag, including several people saying it’s so good. :) All y’all waiting for ASOIAF should be reading Bujold, I am just saying. And if you need a fix for a Jaime-Theon-Ned-awesome character then you will love Caz, I love him, he’s the best. If you’re missing Sansa you’ll love Iselle. If you miss Catelyn (or want a Cersei who isn’t a villain or doomed) then you need Ista. And I can’t compare Penric and Desdemona to any ASOIAF in particular but they’re so lovely. Go read these books. :)
