Aw no, sorry about that! Well, you still get the pleasure of building it at least. I will try to post in the evening when I post them from now on. 

The train and the house are totally the best so far. I like the fireplace but it was tough to get the flames to stay.

I think you got the best calendar: we have the Star Wars one and the figures are pretty good, but the models require a little squinting (and a good knowledge of cartoons I do not watch) to be recognisable.

I was wondering if I wouldn’t have liked another calendar better because this one seemed a little cheesy, but honestly it’s been SO MUCH FUN so far, and I definitely wouldn’t have understood the Star Wars one as well. I’m really enjoying building these little miniatures and admiring the thought that went into them. It must be a huge challenge to come up with something so evocative using the least possible bricks.

Most Lego sets have an extra couple of pieces - it's usually the smaller pieces that they think most people will lose at some point

They actually have extra pieces because the machines in the warehouse sort them by weight and they round up, essentially.

I bet that the real reason is the round-up-by-weight and the reason they TELL everyone is the “extra pieces people will lose”. :D Although admittedly most of the extras are the smaller pieces and I HAVE already dropped several...

Agreed. Heck, every Avenger is dangerous. That doesn’t mean they can’t be soft, doesn’t mean they are bad people but they have power. They have the ability to hurt people. And Tony is certainly no exception.

I love soft, fluffy Tony, I really do, but that’s not all that is to him. Tony Stark took down terrorists. Tony Stark built a suit of armour. Tony Stark is not to be fucked with. That he has a heart of gold we all know and love is doesn’t change that.

(I’d even argue that Fury and Romanoff are far too jaded to consider Tony’s intentions at all. They concern themselves with the worst-case scenario, not the reality, because their job means seeing the worst in people instead of trusting they’ll do the right thing.)

Have you heard "No Matter What" by Badfinger? Just seems to sum up Toni/Rhodey (or even Toni/Jarvis) to me (plus I like the fact it's a fairly upbeat song too!)

Like it’s upbeat and heartfelt and I could see them dancing around in the workshop with the bots and Rhodey overly dramatic singing it to her one day when they’re feeling happy and playful and full of light.

What helped me the most with interviews was realising that I’m interviewing them as much as they’re interviewing me. Balanced out the power dynamic (at least in my head) so I’m far more relaxed than I used to be. As for a group interview, try to go for quality not quantity - saying too much that’s meaningless is worse than not saying enough

Unless T'Challa’s doing a “better if I can keep an eye on them/know where they are so they can’t pull any more stupid shit” type thing. Plus I can also see him thinking “if they don’t realise it’s a prison ‘cause there aren’t any bars, maybe this time they’ll stay put”. Plus it might take the UN etc. some time to decide what approach to take with them, where to try them, where to imprison them etc. if they’re with T'Challa retrieving them should be easy

Even if, it would still be a lot of hassle and I don’t think Steve would be the one to stay in one place for too long. Even if T’challa told him to stay, Steve isn’t that good when it comes to listening to other people so. He’s probably gone off by now with the rest of them.

assuming you booked as one flight with multiple connections, theoretically the airline has to get you on the next available flight (and sort out any further connections). If you booked each stage yourself, yeah that could be a pain. Might be worth going to check with a friendly gate agent exactly what they can do to help

I tried to upload a post about my time in New York, because get this.

I had two hours to get to my connection flight in New York. The plane in Phoenix started with two hours later than scheduled. When I arrived in New York I still had two hours to catch my flight to London.

I don’t know how that makes sense, because it’s not the time difference, but I was happy anyway.

But yes, there would have been a connection flight, there were special customer help services just for missed connection and cancelled flights. Apparently they just put you onto the next plane that leaves towards your destination.
