Ridiculously exciting news! Great job @thewcs and @turtlesurvival | Repost @thewcs | 🐢Less than a handful of female Burmese roofed turtles are left in the wild. So discovering 44 fertile eggs, as a team from WCS and the Turtle Survival Alliance did recently in Myanmar, is a big deal. The eggs are now in a protected incubation site where they receive 24-hour monitoring.
