going through my stunningsmithz tag makes me really sad because theres a bunch of posts of us talking and joking around and ugh-i miss those nights that we would all stay up together :(
"Alright, we are all aware that the room smells like crap, but there's nothing we can do about it since dissecting will continue another few days," Mrs. Watson told us after a group of boys in class started complaining. As if they've never been in a smelly room before. Really? I'm betting that this room smells a thousand times better than theirs does at home. I'm just saying.
"Can we open up a window or something," One of the cry-babies wined her while pinching his nose shut.
She rolled her eyes annoyed and waved him off, allowing him to do so. "So today we will start dissecting the sharks..." More like we’ll start cutting things open while she checks her Facebook." I want groups no bigger than four." She said as she pulled out a few large white boxes with clear plastic bags flowing out of them.
The girls in the class look like they're going to barf any minute. Including Keri, my best friend, who hates the idea of cutting open dead animals for the sake of science or for any reason. I have to admit that it's messed up, but it's better than reading the textbook or working on some dumb worksheets.
Cody, and his three other friends, had already gotten up to get started. Last time we had to dissect, they decided to joke around and put small intestines on a girl's head. Completely immature, disgusting, and cruel in my opinion. Pretty sure we're in high school, these boys need to grow up. The only reason I even tolerate the retards is because Cody has been my friend for eight years, and loves his 'brothers' to death.
They're lucky they haven’t ever messed with me. Which is for the best, because if any of them even dared to even talk to me it'd be a moment they'd regret forever. Of course I talk big. Who doesn't? But I don't always act big. Only because there are teachers here who find joy out of sending students to the principal's office, a place that I would prefer to not be sent to during the last two weeks of school.
"Karina, Cody ditched us again for the douche-bags," Keri grumbled as she stood beside my desk and glared daggers in his direction.
I turned to see if he had seen her, and laughed when he cowered behind his friends. "No biggy, we can beat him up about it later," I told her with an evil grin.
Then I noticed two of the quieter girls looking for partners to work with. Since we needed to move fast, and they had brains, I waved them over to join me and Keri.
"Hey Karina," One named Vanessa smiled briefly. She was always shy and sweet, but never have I ever seen her look so down before.
"What's wrong?" I asked her curiously.
"N-Nothing," She stammered, "I'm just tired."
That's a lie, but I won't pester her to death. But that doesn't stop me from being curious. Why would Vanessa have something to lie about? It just doesn't make any sense.
"Let's get started," Keri said while pulling me out of my seat and dragging me to a lab table near Cody's group.
"Whoa, I don't want to work over here, they might toss organs at us." I complained while trying to break free from her tight grip. As if he heard us, Cody called our names. Once we looked at him, he started pretending to weigh some of the organs in his hands before he winked at us.
"Well if they do we'll just have to kick their sorry asses now won't we?" She asked. I watched as she flexed her arm a little in an attempt to show her muscles.
Sure, if she doesn't get sick and run out of the room before they get a chance. This is going to be a long hour.

We're now almost done with the first part of the dissection of our shark and Keri looks like she’s going to pass out any minute now.
"Are you going to make it?" I asked her cautiously, "I definitely don't want puke all over me."
She just nodded, and then her hand shot up to her mouth when Elisa, the other girl, pulled out another organ. Before I had the chance to say anything, she sprinted out of the room, knocking people out of her way in the process. Everyone in the room just stared after her curiously. I sighed and told Mrs. Watson that she probably was puking her head off, so she went to fetch the nurse.
Then someone cleared their throat excessively loud in order to get everyone's attention. "Just wanted to inform you all that there is a party Friday night starting at the bowling alley and moving to Dylan's house," Adrian announced. He then went back to his lab group and Cody walked over to me.
"Want to go?" He asked.
"Go where?" I'm not interested at all, the last place I'd want to be is at one of the jerk's houses.
"It'd be fun. You, me, and Keri can all hang out," He tried to persuade me.
Guess it wouldn't be so bad if we all went. I'd just have to forget about Cody's other crew.
"Okay sure. I'll go, but if you ditch us for them then I'll never talk to you again."
"Deal," He smiled. "Think she will be okay?" I gave him my are-you-seriously-asking-me-this face. "Well at least it wasn’t like last time when she took off before we even started to cut the thing open," He chuckled.
I punched his arm. He knows better than to use his jerk talk around me. "Watch it tough guy," I warned him.
"Ow, that hurt," He murmured as he rubbed the spot where I had hit him at.
Out of the corner of my eye I caught Vanessa glancing over at Nick, one of the many man-whores Cody hangs out with. Her eyes were full of anger, sorrow, regret, and hate. Wonder what is going on between them. "Hey you," I frowned at Cody.
He flinched, thinking I was going to hit him again. "What?" He asked hesitantly.
"Stop being a baby, I'm not going to hit you. Anyway, what's up with Vanessa?" I asked him.
He glanced across the room at her and noticed the same thing I had previously. He turned to me and simply shrugged. He's so full of it.
"Tell me," I demanded as I hit him again.
"Damn, calm down and stop hitting me," He said with an annoyed tone. "Nick got a hold of her, she was his number thirty-five," He explained angrily.
That douchebag! If I wasn't afraid he'd put shark guts all over me I'd walk straight up to him and kick his ass. Poor Vanessa, so innocent and fragile. That douche smooth talked his way into hooking up with her.
I must have looked enraged because Cody's expression was full of worry. "Don't say anything to him about it," He said quickly.
"And why the hell shouldn't I?" I asked as I angrily crossed my arms. "It's not like he feels bad about it. I mean look at him over there," I pointed. He and Adrian were laughing and fooling around with their shark. Adrian picked it up and made it swim around in the air. Boys are just stupid.
"Because he's going to be around Adrian and Jake. They'll rip you to shreds if you try to stand up to him," He explained.
Humph. We'll see about that.
"Awe Cody, it’s nice to know that you still have a heart in there somewhere." I smiled sweetly while blinking my eye lashes fast.
He glared at me and I laughed, "Oh you know you love me."
"Whatever you say. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get back to my friends," He replied.
Ouch, and to think I called him my best friend. "Rude much,” I muttered under my breath.
He turned around, and for a second I thought he was going to be mad at me, But he just shot me an apologetic look. "I'm sorry, I'm just a little setback by something," He sighed. I furrowed my brows confused. What could possibly be bugging him? Finals maybe, but he always does good on tests like that. "It doesn’t matter, just do me a favor and stay away from Nick," He spoke a bit too seriously for my liking.
"Why?" I asked. I hardly even know the guy. Only his name and extracurricular were known to me. We've never even talked before.
"Just promise me you won't talk to him, ever," He pleaded.
Yes, because that's not suspicious at all. Even worse, I swear Nick just glanced over here. Why would he be interested in a conversation I'm having with Cody? If he is at all, maybe I'm just being paranoid.
"I think I will just to bug you," I grinned. His eyes widened in fear because he knew I would.
“Don’t please," He pleaded.
"Hey Cody, get your ass back over here," Adrian yell from the across the room.
Cody began to walk away from me, but I grabbed his arm and yanked him back. "He'll go back when we’re done talking to asshole," I said back.
The room went silent and everyone was either staring at me, or Adrian. He and Jake are by far the two most appalling guys in our school. The last thing anyone wants to do is to be on their bad side. Fortunately, I'm not afraid of their stupidity. Not to mention I hang out with Cody all the time, who is hardly any better.
"Excuse me?" Adrian asked as he started towards me. People moved out of his way so he didn't have to shove past them.
"Why can't she just keep her mouth shut for once?" Cody whispered to himself. I gave him a death glare.
"Please do repeat yourself little girl," Adrian added. He was now just a few feet away, hovering over me. He quickly looked me over before returning his gaze to my eyes again. Such a man-whore.
I smirked, "Oh you're talking to me, I was just confused for a second because the only little thing in this room is your dick." I put emphasis on the "k."
Cody coughed as a way to signal me telling me it was time to shut up, but I ignored the gesture. Other kids in the class had no problem laughing their butts off though. Adrian glared at me for a moment before his expression lightened, "Funny you can say that, since you've never seen it."
"And what exactly makes you think I want to?" I asked disgusted. "Sorry bud, but you aren't worth my time," I informed him. More people erupted in laughter, boosting up my confidence while degrading his.
"Don't be sorry babe because you don't know what you're talking about. Pretty sure the only experience you have on the topic is from what you see on TV,'' he smirked.
The class joined his side, wooing at what he had just told me. Maybe he had gotten me there. I’ll just have to bite back harder. "That may be true, but that's because the people on TV are actually good at what they do. Unlike like I don't know, you," I replied while placing a hand on my hip.
The whole room was tuned in on our conversation. Not going to lie, I've always loved attention, so this doesn't bother me at all; especially, since I'm not the one being dissed. "Don't knock it 'till you try it baby," He winked.
"Won't need to since there's nothing to try," I smirked. This boy better back down or else I’ll have to really show him whose boss.
Just then the Mrs. Watson and Keri returned to the room, both giving Adrian and I weird looks.
"What's going on?'' Mrs. Watson asked.
"Nothing," We replied at the same time.
Keri gave me a questioning look, but I just smiled, pushed past Adrian, and returned to my table. Those boys really need to learn not to pick a fight with someone they can't beat.
