i find it so funny that both star trek and dr who had the 'do you sacrifice a person you've only just met for the sake of others?' conundrum except with dr who it was 'you can save this child at the cost of your life and possibly creation' whereas star trek was 'you can save your best friend but you have to actively murder your friend's homosexual homunculus'

It was just merged. Of course. This hurts my brain so much. How can you merge proteins and enzymes? They have specific roles that depend on them fitting exactly to to their receptors. I’m so mad.
