A lot of things in life are pretty quantifiable.
Last night I slept 5 hours.
Today I spent 3.75 on a macchiato, 2.50 on a croissant, 6.75 on udon and just dropped 6 something at the Starbucks where I'm writing this right now.
Tuzina is a group of five dancers in the Fordham/Ailey Dance BFA program and a filmmaker from Columbia who trying to raise 20,000 dollars for their trip to Uganda.
For over 20 years, more than 65,000 children have been kidnapped by Uganda's anti-government rebel group, the Lord's Resistance Army and forced to serve as child soldiers and sex slaves.
Tuzina will be in Lukodi, Uganda for three weeks, partnering with ChildVoice International, to bring dance as a form of expression and healing in hopes to help with personal recovery and renewal for orphans and former child soldiers.
Tuzina is currently at 11,798 dollars. A bit more than 50% to their goal. They have a week to raise the rest.
3.75+2.50+6.75+6 something = 19 something.
11,798-19 = 11,779. Not a huge difference but 19 dollars closer to their goal.
