He's HERE! My clownsona! *DefunctTV voice* Jack B. Nymball had a dream for daytime television. He graced the early afternoons of the 80s as Baulderdash the Boogeying Clown, where he taught his audience how to live life uninhibited. Segments of his program involved original songs, art & painting tutorials, & short lessons about science, history, or even philosophy. A short adaptation of a classic play was performed, & then the show would culminate into a massive studio wide dance party. Baulderdash was a massively successful show throughout the 80s, but by 1987, the show was beginning to stagnate. Nymball struggled to please the networks with new segments utilizing new mediums like puppetry & animation, but the show only eked out ten more episodes over a strained two-and-a-half year production, and before the dawn of the new decade, the show was cancelled. Nymball was brokenhearted, studio contracts forbidding him from shopping his program to other stations. From the 90s onward, the network had plenty of episodes of Baulderdash to continue rerunning in perpetuity...Nymball never showed his face the public again, & those ten episodes of the final season never aired, but exist somewhere...
