HELLO VILLAINS

Hello and welcome to the official kick off post for the Villainous Charity Project ZINE!

If the title alone doesn’t give it away, we’re working on devoting our time and resources into creating a fantastical fanart and fic filled zine inspired by the Villainous cartoon. We have a few amazing artists already chipping in with their talents and awesome ideas, but we need quite a few more in order to bring this ambitious dream of ours to life.

Our goal is 30 art pieces, 15 Fics, and 5 standalone two page art pieces.

CURRENTLY NEEDED:

ARTISTS: 5

WRITERS: 11

2 PAGE STANDALONE: 2

All pieces must be completed no later than 10/31 11:59PM EST

Please do not submit an audition if you cannot work within this time restraint.

The zine itself will be made available on Etsy through direct download just in time for the holidays (hopefully!) so that all you wonderful folks can print the zine yourselves and not have to deal with messy shipping during this very weird timeline we’re currently all in. Leftover proceeds after sales costs will be donated to the Trevor Project!

ELLO VILLAINS

Thank you kindly for all your support for our little project. We really appreciate it! However, I’ve been receiving DMs requesting information and not solely for a an invitation for the server, which really clogs up everything and makes my job just a tad bit difficult. I humbly request that you fully read the post that states what the project is and how we go about bringing folks on/how many people we still need before sending a message. I update the numbers daily, so unless I’ve stated the spots are fully there is still a vacancy available. While I am always happy to chat, any messages of these sorts go ignored. Mostly because when I bring people in to the group I fully expect everyone to be independent enough to find information themselves and complete their parts without any nagging from me. To clarify who we are and what we do; We’ve been going strong for two years now. Prior to the zine we did a charity livestream where multiple folks from the ai team came to visit while our artists drew and entertained anyone tuning in. We’ve also completed a full tarot deck which was made available on Etsy. The tarot deck in its completion may be made available again for anyone that missed out on it last year. All that we’ve done HAS been approved by Alan and we greatly appreciate folks from the AI team that have liked and RT’d posts for our project. Proceeds aside from Etsy listing costs goes to the Trevor Project, as stated in the initial post. None of the contributors or myself get paid for the work we do. It is solely for charity and to help LGBT kids in need. If that’s something you’re interested in helping with, please feel free to reach out for a link to the server. You will absolutely need a discord in order to be part of the project, as well as need to be available the next two months for check ins and deadlines. Part of the reason we’ve had success with our projects is because we are very strict about these things. If you’re brought on it’s with the expectation that you’ll do your part without any badgering from me. I think that’s all as far as answer questions folks have sent in. If there’s anything else not already clarified, please let me know!

Waiiiiit a minute....it's friday...

DOES THAT MEAN HANNIBAL IS ON TONIGHT?????? :D

(Me and my sis just marathoned the first season in like, a week,and watched the first two eps of season 2 on tuesday) anyone know if there's a channel it could be livestreamed from TVPC? I don't have cable and wouldn't be able to watch it any other way until NBC put it up on their site
