Love that season 7 of Vampire Diaries decided to have an episode that explored the abuse Damon and Stefan experienced as kids.

Hate that they chose to do this with an example of abuse that, in the context of the horrors people experience and commit on this show, felt incredibly trite. Hate that the actors for the young Salvatore family weren't able to elevate the mediocre script, and sounded stilted talking without contractions. Hate that the episode leaves me feeling mildly annoyed rather than emotionally distraught.

TVD 7x18 proves that even every knows Steroline is endgame. I mean Valerie literally says she loves Stefan so much, but he loves another that way. Stefan's love is Caroline. Let's make these happen people before the finale please!!

Ok let's talk As much as I hate talking about Valerie and Stefan becoming a ..... 😷thing😷. I think even in the future Stefan is still madly in love with Caroline because of this ---- he told Damon as long as Rayna is alive he cant be near girlfriend especially with kids involved. He does not want ANYTHING to happen to Caroline or the babies. BUT he's ok with going on the the run with Valerie? As much as he wants it to be Caroline and as much as he wanted Caroline to say yes, after looking into the window of her and Alaric holding the babies, he knows he can't have that or they will get hurt. So instead he has Valerie come with him. That should say something. Yeah obviously he cares about her in the future, but obviously not more than Caroline cause he would rather leave her and have Caroline hate him then her get hurt. He would rather go to the huntress because he has Caroline then stay with Valerie and hide. I don't know what the future holds for Steroline or even TVD in general. All I know is Stefan will always love Caroline, no matter who she's engaged too and no matter who he's with. I think Caroline is his true love. True love is when your lover is your best friend. Stefan and Elena didn't have that - they just had an instant connection and became "epic" (not really a Selena fan) but Caroline and Stefan? That happened over a matter of years. Started off as friends and then best friends then to being madly in love. That's true love and they are definitely that. They have forever to be together! Don't forget that. They literally have forever and then some to come back together again. Three years is nothing on that.
