Elena Gilbert was born into a wealthy, happy family. At the age of 5, she started to play the piano, and singing as well. By the age of 10, she was performing at local theatres, captivating her audience with her renditions of classical music. She continues to play the piano, but now, she mainly sings without it -- using her voice as her main instrument. Her parents are behind her 100% as they were the ones who suggested she applied to the High School of Performing Arts. The brunette has completed a year at the school, and is entering for her second year. She hopes that she will be able to do as well this year as she did last year.
