Most Impressive Wheel of Time Collection!
We received some great entries for the #TVNetShelvies contest, and now it's time to vote on your favorites! To vote, simply COMMENT on this post with the letter that you think is the Most Impressive Wheel of Time Collection! Winners will be announced Thursday, February15th!
Happy Monday, everyone! Everyone here loves books, right? The smell of a new book, or the wear on an old, loved book. No matter what, books are an important part of your life, and most of us enjoy sharing that love with other people. In the spirit of sharing your books with others, TarValon.Net is hosting a #Shelvies contest so you can show off your shelves! There will be two categories: Best Overall Book Presentation & Best Overall WoT Presentation. The first category will be to show off your entire book collection, and the second category will be to show off your Wheel of Time book collection.
We'll be accepting entries until Monday, February 5th at 11:59PM PST, and after that, we'll narrow down our entries and give everyone a chance to vote on their favorites. All you have to do to enter is make a post with your pictures using the hashtag #TVNetShelvies and tag us at @tarvalon-net. Please only submit one picture per category (if your shelves are spread out a bit and you need to turn a few pictures into a collage, that's totally okay). The winners in each category will receive prestige, renown, as well as a $10 gift certificate to Ta'veren Tees! #TVNetShelvies Contest Winners!!
We saw some amazing collections, and are extremely jealous of all of them, but the votes have been tallied and we're happy to announce the winners of our first #TVNetShelvies Contest, all of which are winning a $10 gift certificate to Ta'Veren Tees!
In the Best Overall Library Category, Richard Armitage is our winner! Everyone fell in love with the collection, as well as the super-comfy reading chair that's set up right there.
In the Best Wheel of Time Collection Category, we're happy to say that Parker Jake's complete leatherbound collection of the series, all of which are signed and numbered, in addition to his two Darrell K. Sweet prints completely and utterly blew us away.
While we loved all of the entries in both categories, one entry in particular really struck us as being unique and memorable, and we'd like to highlight that entry as well. Ruby Tuesday Glenn won in our Judges' Choice Category! Her collection is very well highlighted, and we're absolutely jealous of her banner! (Seriously, message us if you can tell us where to get one!)
