Y'all guess what ??? I've finally started to go somewhere with the fighting scene (TVOMS) ! But it will take a while so yeah, because I need to reread the serie lol.

“I’ve got a good feeling about this one,” Terzo says, drumming the steering wheel. “The realtor said it was vibes.”

Copia tugs his seatbelt a little tighter, watching Terzo roll breezily through a stop sign. He really should have driven. He’s going to have to get behind the wheel anyway as soon as they need to parallel park.

“That’s what he said about the last one,” Copia says. “It didn’t have any windows.”

Every chapter of TVOMS is titled with the name of a piece of music (mostly classical). Music plays a huge role in the story--in fact a big part of April’s life and the main conflict--and there are so many pieces that something is bound to fit the overall mood of the chapter. I think it’ll be an interesting way to track the flow of the story as a whole: put the title songs in a playlist and listen as the mood changes.

“Ah, good,” Secondo says instead of hello, or how do you do, or sorry I scared the piss out of you, can I refresh your coffee? “Someone’s here. Terzo’s not usually in until noon.”

“I’ve—I’ve noticed,” Copia says, in the absence of any other response. Then, gritting his teeth and letting his body give into its well-honed customer service impulse: “Sorry, can I help you?”

“Well, it’s the first of the month,” Secondo says quite reasonably, like that explains it. “I’m here for my paycheck.”

It’s October, and with every passing day, Terzo’s requests get more frequent and ridiculous, like a succession of kaiju attacks. Yesterday, he’d asked Copia with the offhand air of a man who didn’t think he’d be rejected if they could hire a tattoo artist for a kid-friendly roadside carnival.
