Why do you keep reblogging everything with trigger warnings now? Do you think it's funny or some shit?
The concept of trigger warnings always left a bad taste in my mouth. As someone with autism, I’ve always been excluded from various activities due to people not understanding how I behave. Trigger Warnings, oddly, trigger that feeling more than any post I have seen on tumblr. This is because they remind their viewers, intentionally or not, that they are not worthy of viewing a post due to circumstances in one’s life that they can’t control. Really, being strong enough to make fun of them. It allows me to relive those experiences with a different sense of enlightenment. Plus, it’s really cathartic and therapeutic to make fun of something that has offended you or hurt you for years.
To answer more directly, yes. This is funny.
