Daily Doodle 214! Crawling out of my art block by drawing my own ocs <3 Here’s Atta Mace, cyclops designer, fashion model and civil rights activist with the power of magic and also Twitter. He’s able to shift his body’s length and texture and uses it to look hot while he models. He’s the only known full-blooded cyclops with a working memory. He’s also single :)

Daily Doodle 216! Part 2 of Atta’s Mercy Collection. This is definitely the part that turned heads in regards to the ‘appropriation’ issue but this is look is one of the most expensive, given most of the jewelry here is 24k gold and obsidian, and come in sets - you couldn’t buy a ring, you had to buy the 3 that came together, etc. It’s not the most expensive thing the brand has ever put out, but it’s definitely up there.

It’s also worth noting that despite the implication, the suit Atta wears for this specific look (he never models a suit again) is not included in the collection and the embroidery was added as a last-minute touch by his good friend Persephone. Of course being the size that he is Atta doesn’t always model the stuff he makes because there would need to be a separate tailor for his very tall, very lithe frame, and so would distort what the clothes would look like on literally anyone else.

So in an interview talking about Mercy, Atta explains this look was modeled by him simply because the suit wasn’t the focus - the accessories were. He can model those no problem. In that same interview Atta displays in real time his ability to recollect himself and transform, which also garnered a lot of attention.

Atta doesn’t actually know what happened to this specific suit and can’t find it, and is a little embarrassed to tell Persephone. Little does he know that she hid it in her closet, y’know. For safe keeping. Wink wonk.

Daily doodle 215! At this point I know for a fact IG has shadowbanned me so I might as well post some more Atta.

His debut collection, Mercy, is filled with vague religious influence, most notably the Satanic Church. Part of the reason why Atta Mace’s brand got so big in the first place was the confusion with Atta and the backlash of ‘religious appropriation’ although no one could prove outright which religion was being offended, except of course, the Church of Satan, who uses the pentagram. You could not find a group of people who have less of a shit that Atta was using the pentagram and devil imagery in his work than these guys, which ultimately shut everyone up about the issue of appropriation (but not morality). With all the attention on the Mercy collection Atta and fellow activists were able to draw attention to cyclops enslavement and slave labor. At first no one wanted to talk about it, but Atta’s insistence pushed for many conversations about it and ultimately started a movement for species’ freedoms.

It is the only collection that includes Atta at his most natural - the golden swirl iris, the blue skin, the lack of texture and extensions; Atta without modifications is still a powerful image to behold. It’s one of his most well-known looks. It has been imitated many times, but no one can quite wear the Mercy collection like a cyclops can.
