Hi, this post *should* either be going up on Sunday or Monday. It's currently Sunday as I'm writing this, and I'm about to start watching episode 2 of
The series that supposedly makes YHS and TS look tame: Kingdom of Valor!
I'm Major and here's a summary of episodes 2 and 3.

Episode 2
We start off in the forest. Again. This time it's extremely foggy.
Taurtis has climbed up a tree, to look for something.
Taurtis can't see anything, even when he climbs even higher in the tree. So, they all go back to "plan A” wander aimlessly in the woods.
Sam sees someone through the fog, behind a tree.
Grian says he's done his fair share of monster killing after Sam says to not hesitate to kill monsters if you see them. Hmm, is that some regret there, Grian?
The forest gets a lot darker and they see a monster with a big claw. Like the one that Taurtis now has.
They see a light which when they get closer is a house with people inside.
Taurtis doesn't believe that they're actually people and wants to kill them.
Grian is just like “No, we're not killing them. Let's just knock on the door.”
The door opens and there's gnomes that they barter their way into staying there with carrots.
Nevermind, Grian just gives carrots and then they're not let in.
Taurtis tries to break in. That fails. The gnomes keep telling them all to leave, then the gnomes start shooting them when they don't leave. Then Tartarus runs into the house through the open door.
Taurtis says the gnomes have IKEA tables and a nice TV before running back out. How do the gnomes have IKEA and TVs?
Finally, they leave.
Okay, they're charging up on every monster they see. Taurtis says “You've got to savour it” when talking about killing.
Grian's trying to tell them just to avoid the monsters, but he also doesn't hesitate to join when they're fighting monsters. Come on, Grian, match your words to your actions.
Ashitaku leaves them. Fair.
They follow a river.
Grian spots a bridge. He crosses it first and names himself king of the bridge. Doesn't let Sam on it. Taurtis just goes through the water to the other side. That ruins Grian's bridge plan and he gives up on guarding/claiming the bridge.
They find a path going up across the bridge. Taurtis doesn't want to go and then they find a sign that says “Turn Back Travellers”.
They continue anyways and hear singing.
Like, it's genuine singing. There's actually singing, that can be heard.
At the top of the path there's a strange building. I think it looks very dark and gloomy.
Sam asks if they should go inside and Taurtis instantly says no.
They all go inside anyways.
There's a guy with a massive scythe inside and then the singing stops.
Okay, the guy's name in chat is just “???” but he says they can stay there for refuge.
Now Grian's the one that really wants to leave.
Taurtis gives the guy bread and Sam invites him to join their party.
Grian admits “We could use an all powerful being of death”
Okay, the place that they're in is a church that “used to be a great chapel” and it was torn up by the monsters.
Grian asks the guy "what are you?”
Valid question, honestly.
The guy's answer is “just a wanderer”
They ask the guy to not just join them, but lead them.
The guy agrees and they ask if he knows how to get back to the kingdom/king.
Finally they ask his name.
His name is Thanatos.
Hm, that doesn't seem like a good sign. Thanatos is the Greek God of Death.
Oh well, we've got Thanatos now apparently.
They follow Thanatos up a really high circling staircase.
There's some sort of flying shape in the fog. It has wings.
The episode ends there
Episode 3
Okay, first of all, it's now Tuesday night for me. I got distracted with watching episode 2 of Past life, but I'm back now
They're on the church roof and there's lots of monsters on the ground
So, in order to get to the bridge (That's what Thanatos said they needed to do) they travel across the trees.
They go on the ground, Grian gets temporarily lost, then Sam falls into a hole
Grian is suspicious of Thanatos, who Sam and Taurtis have started calling “Thanny”
They find this big bridge, they're crossing it when loads of monsters appear behind them. So, they run away, into a broken down castle
Taurtis is diabetic apparently
The monsters find the castle and start trying to break the gate
The monsters break the gate and they have to hold them back since they're on higher ground
After defeating the monsters, Thanatos says they must leave
The trio play around with a broken guillotine first
They see the outline of their castle up on a hill and start to head towards it
When they reach the watchtower to let them into the walls of the castle, Thanatos just disappears completely
I don't think I've mentioned already, because I thought it was a throwaway joke at first, but it keeps getting repeated, but in order for a wizard to earn more spells they have to kill a wiser wizard
Yeah, Grian was previously just a guy then he pushed a wizard off a cliff, gained a spell and became a wizard
They get to the inn and pay with a spear that Sam got from the broken down castle
They find a wizard(witch? I don't know if everyone's a wizard or if girls are witches) and Grian starts asking her what spells she has. I saw in the comments someone say she looks like Lizzie, but you can only see the face so… I'll leave that as a possible interpretation
Okay, she tells them that she has some aqua spells so Grian instantly starts hitting her
Grian actually murders her, but when an authority comes (the kings personal wizard) Grian says it was just “wizard chess” and gets away with it
They also frame a random ninja for stealing ravioli, so he gets taken, presumably to be executed
And that's the end!
So, I absolutely hated that. I just didn't want to watch anymore which Is why it took me a while to get to episode 3. I'm a fifth of the way through though.
Let's see what trauma Grian has this time! Possibly regretting killing the monsters, but continuing to fight them regardless. Also, he did murder someone but he did so for his own gain.
As for injuries, he might've gotten shot by the gnomes, there were a lot of arrows flying about. Once again, there's a chance that the fighting monsters cause injury. Finally, there's a chance that he got injured when fighting and murdering the other wizard. Therefore, no confirmed injuries, but places to add injuries if you wish.
Next summary might be where it gets bad, though, so pay attention to the trigger warnings for that one.
a lot of it happened, but it's not as bad as kov...i couldn't even get through the first episode of that
but basically with all the stuff that happened in yhs some of the actors didn't even want to be associated with it, I can't explain it that well but I'll try
the actor who played Sookie has said to stop associating her as the lesbian monster thing

Episode 4
It starts where Episode 3 finishes, with Taurtis's rival getting arrested for stealing ravioli which was actually stolen by Taurtis
The three then go upstairs to the room with the three beds
They have a brief conversation but the only important thing is they mention that Thanatos doesn't come into the kingdom
They go to sleep, Grian and Sam share the bed, but with a full bed in-between them whilst Taurtis sleeps in the corner
When they wake up, Sam overslept for two hours. Grian spent that time trying to wake him up and practicing his two new water spells and Taurtis has been spying on the other people at the tavern.
They all start going to the castle to see the King
All of them forgot what their mission was as they try to figure out what to say to the King
As they arrive at the castle, Taurtis's rival is being executed
Sam gets Taurtis to sing the news to the King, Sam says he'll do the tune because he used to be a minstrel and Grian thinks he means like the chocolate
The King sets Grian on fire because Grian was talking back to him when he got mad at them for failing the mission
They get sent to the dungeons and the King orders the guard to beat the blonde one extra, which all Grian has to say in reply to that is “it's strawberry blonde”, so he's not got the best priorities
Grian gets set on fire again
Taurtis tries hiding
Grian's disappeared somewhere
They see a gnome get executed in the dungeons
Grian's near a cell which they all go into
The executioner tells them he “can't wait to scar up those bodies of yours”
There's someone else in their cell who says they haven't had company in ages
They talk to a woman in a cell adjacent asking her how long she's been in there, to which she says two weeks
Grian asks her if she wants to go on a date… in order to see if she has any spells so he can kill her
They ask the girl if she knows any way out, she says to dig a tunnel which she's been doing for a week
Sam says to rat that girl out for trying to escape so then when the guards come over they can use their weapons to kill the guards and break free
The guards come over and take the girl to be executed, but she's in the cell next to theirs, so they can't do anything
Grian says to rat out the man in their cell so that when the cell door opens, the overpower the guard and break out
That's how the episode ends
Episode 5
Okay, So I'm doing both these episodes in one sitting to try and get this summary out tonight
The episode starts with Sam and Grian trying to figure out how to get out whilst Taurtis sleeps
Taurtis wakes up from a nightmare
The Prince comes down to the cell, turns out he's the King now
The Prince takes the man out the cell and executes him
Sam suggests to arouse the guards
A woman gets thrown into the cell next to them
She's flirting with Grian
She introduces herself as Olga, queen of the vikings
She says she'll help them get out and when a guard comes to tell them all to be quiet she flirts with the guard
The guard goes into her cell to kiss her and she beats him to death with a stick
She let's them out of the cell, but her focus is on Grian. She only let's Sam and Taurtis out because Grian asks her too
They start to go out the way they came, knocking out the guard they come across
Sam pretends to stick his staff up the guards ass which Olga says “mmm” to, and then Sam stops saying “we don't want to give her any ideas for Grian”
They run past the rest of the guards, following Olga
Olga takes them to the viking area
Grian says he feels like he's her slave (because she keeps ordering him around and calling him “pretty boy”) to which she says that he is now
We meet Olga's husband (? I think) and she tells him that she got a new boy toy and his reply is “another one?” followed by “good, the last one has been dead for days” When she points out that it's Grian
They go to the proper viking camp where there's a guard trapped in a cage above a fire, Olga's husband says they're a slave captured for her and the guard says “I'm not food”
The guard gets thrown into the fire, sacrificed for Olga which she's happy about. Alongside pretty much all the other vikings
They go over to Olga and her husband (Olaf) to try and see if they can join the vikings
Grian says that Sam and Taurtis have to stay as well if he's staying and Olga starts to chase him with a stick, because she thinks he's not listening To her
They all go into a tent to talk in private and Sam asks Olaf if they can work together to overthrow the kingdom and the King
Grian tries to leave the tent and Olga goes at him with the stick again. Sam asks Grian if he wants to be killed with the stick and Grian says it would be better than being a slave
Olaf says he'll work with them if they help get their ancestral weapon from the drauger tomb near the chapel
The episode finishes with Sam saying they'll go get it in the morning and asking if they have anywhere for them to sleep tonight
Woo, did it all in one sitting. Next episode is where it's really going to get bad, and you can see it building up here, so be careful.
Trauma for Grian. The being set on fire perhaps, and maybe being in the dungeons at all. Definitely the way that Olga is treating him.
As for the injuries he's sustained, he was set on fire twice and there was definitely a timeskip between episode 4 and 5 so arguably they could've been tortured there.
As I said before, next episode will be where it gets bad so heed to trigger warnings and be careful.

Hi I just started watching hermitcraft on Grian’s side and I’ve seen a lot of AUs, How many are there or at least which ones are the most popular?
Oh!! Congrats on being pulled into Hermitcraft!! I sold my soul to it in April. I give you two months, tops, before you end up caving and watching at least one other Hermit.
There are... a LOT of AUs for Grian, he’s like.. The starchild of Hermitcraft angst and fanfiction because of how many series he was in. Which is hella ironic to me at a YHS stan from 2016, when for the fandom Grian was a supporting character at best who usually was the first to die-
-slaps roof- this bad boy can fit so much angst into it!
There are far to many Grian AUs to count but here’s a few:
Into The Grianverse, of all the different versions of Grian ending up together in Hermitcraft. Evo, Watcher, “classic” aka Hermitcraft, YHS, and most of the time KOV. (for reasons i’ve specified many times, most people aren’t comfortable with KOV and I am personally on the bandwagon of almost never mentioning Grian was in the series, ever)
Watcher!Grian, which gained traction MOSTLY from And The Universe Shifts I believe? Generally Watcher!Grian is universally just. Grian being a run-away demigod of sorts with wings and admin abilities, and the like. Some AUs switch it up a bit but that’s the “vanilla” version of it
There are also a lot of headcanons and stuff I could get into but those are the main ones you’ll see coming up!
