I don’t wanna ramble too much but I really do have so many thoughts about how achingly complex he is? The entire movie were given the hint that he’s shoved into the role of having to provide and be a protector but it’s for family so there’s this whole layer of owning his role out of love… and that alone is something so intriguing and maybe why I love him the most, because what’s more horrifying than what love turns us into? Or even what is true love and devotion to embrace the horrors?
