Someone asked me to trigger tag it, so I do. And even if I knew the specifics, it's none of your business. Asking why triggers are triggers is disrespectful and just frankly an ass move. You aren't entitled to knowing someone's trauma.

Yeah, it is possible to respect triggers and not understand them, but I'm not sure that your understanding my point here.

It's the way that your approaching it, in how your calling us assholes if we get curious, depending on the person you should ideally have a different response on how you explain that "hey these things make me uncomfortable and I don't have to tell you why they do" instead of instantly thinking that the person has bad intentions and calling them an asshole because they're curious on how to avoid trigging you

I myself get uneasy when it comes to anything involving ribs and that general area, so yes I understand why it can be rude to ask someone about their triggers and why the triggers exist. But you have to understand that sometimes people just won't understand until they find an answer they seem good enough.

I really don't have the ability to form words enough to explain right now, but I'll do my best.

It doesn't matter if you don't deem the answer good enough. That's the answer you get and that's that. You aren't entitled to knowledge about my (or anyone else's) triggers.

I get defensive about this because I know some people find it really damn hard to have basic human decency. Somebody saying "hey this is a trigger" or trigger tagging it without explaining why is not an invitation for you to come ask about it. It's them making their blog safer for people, and asks like this make it less safe.

tss isn't a trigger for me personally, and I don't know the extent or why it's a trigger for the person who asked me to tag it. I didn't ask. They asked me to tag it, so I do. I'm not going to force someone to remember their trauma just because I'm curious.
