I knew it would end this way with Art Fight...
I knew from the very beginning of the announcement of the 2026 teams. And honestly? I didn't think I would be more disappointed at this point in time.
We all knew Comedy was going to win in the end and I think that mindset didn't help at all with the fact that we had 3 teams. I was more focused on attacking team Comedy because I knew they would win, I was more focused on revenging team Comedy because I knew they would win, but that leaves someone out ...
Mystery. Mystery took the brunt of the force, ultimately getting less than both Tragedy and Comedy. Not to mention, ratio of teams were... terrible. I feel like for having 3 teams, you shouldn't even be able to have been a traitor this year. A lot of people I knew swapped to team Comedy at the last second and it is so frustrating.
They had a staggering difference of people, going from most to least it was Comedy > Tragedy > Mystery. Not to mention that Comedy and Tragedy were always just intended to be the perfect duo that Mystery sort of... got forgotten about(?) / didn't stand a chance.
I'm thankful Art Fight is going back to two teams next year solely because that is PROPER competition. 3 teams is unfair, especially with the amount of people registered this year (2 mil).
The teams on the voting polls right now are also kinda hit or miss... I think rerunning teams wouldn't be a bad idea at this point.
Signing off, your local team Tragedian.
