He's shocked, blue eyes wide in disbelief as he rubs at the point of impact but you won't apologise — not when he'd spent all day treating you like you worth less than one of his spent pieces of gum.
"Feel better now? Can we talk like grown ups, or would you like a crack at the other cheek?"
"So much for apologising," you scoff, pushing around him so you can leave.
"I said I wanted to talk," he clarifies, reaching around you to shut the door before you can get it fully open.
