HELLO WOLFLINGS!

We are sad to announce that we’re putting the roleplay on hiatus for now while the admin team thinks about what to do to revitilise the roleplay. Our first event was to promote a lot of activity and we’ve seen a result of the exact opposite. We had high hopes this run with so many people applying but now with barely 20 members and half of them on hiatus, the dash is so slow that it’s honestly a lot more damaging to keep the roleplay “running”.

So the main is going to be put on hiatus. Feel free to keep threading as we will be working hard brainstorming on what to change/improve on to make the roleplay more engaging. We’d also love community feedback so don’t hesitate to submit your suggestions to the main as well! We will be keeping you guys updated and engaged via The Wolf twitter page. Thank you guys so much for everything.

RULE CHANGE!

Hello, wolflings! Coming at you this week, we have a rule change. In case you don’t know, two of our accepted muses tonight are third muses. Admin Bigby and Admin Faith both kicked off the start of our third muse acceptances because they were both excited for this change. We’ve been pleased with the amount of activity from everyone so far, but this is an incentive to help kick it up a notch. Please keep in mind that third muses will only be granted to our very active members, and we’ll be very strict on who we allow them to. If we see that you’re struggling already with two muses, you won’t be allowed a third until your activity evens out.

The guidelines page has been updated to reflect this rule, but here is the change so you can see it without having to hunt it down:

After you’ve applied and joined with your second muse, you have activity restrictions you must adhere to until you’re able to pick up your third muse. You must be highly active for one month on both muses to the date of your second muse being picked up. One month equals four activity checks after you join with your second muse. The day you pick up your second muse does not count as an activity check. To be considered highly active, you must be doing beyond the minimum activity requirements: there should be more than just four replies on each muse for that month. This is to ensure that people are clearly capable of balancing three muses. Admins will be checking your blogs to make sure. This means you have to reserve your third muse from one of your character blogs. You cannot reserve your third muse on anon.

FIRST AND FOREMOST: I’m back from vacation! This means I’ll be on the main a lot more now and I have steady internet. I shall be on top of things but I want to give a giant thank you and welcome to Admin Faith! The step up around the main blog has really helped out a lot and I’m really happy to have them on board.

SAY HELLO!

Hello hello, friends! This is my very first time addressing you all. I’m Admin Faith, a new addition to our admin team! 🎉 With a lot of our admins on hiatus and very busy with things going on in their ooc lives, Admin Bigby asked me to take on the role to help cover their needs in running the roleplay. I’ve been in The Wolf for the past two runs, and this is actually the third time I’ve joined. If you’d like to know who I am in the rp, currently you know me as our Enchantress Jinsoul and our Fairy Godmother Baekhyun. :’)

As for what I’ll be working on when I’m on duty - I’m mostly going to help out taking care of the main, queueing ads, as well as helping out Admin Bigby come up with events! I’m always open to suggestions, so feel free to message me on one of my muses, through the main, or on my twitter. Feel free to ask me for that last one!

That being said, please bear with me as I try to get settled into an admin role. ; v ; I have to get used to the way things run around here, but I promise I’ll get the hang of it!

For those of you applying for your second muse: we have an activity rule!

The rule is that you have to be active for two consecutive weeks on your first muse before you can reserve the second. And you can’t just do the minimum activity requirements either: you have to do more than one post each of the two week cooldown period. If you can manage that then you can go ahead and submit your second muse!

The reason why we allowed second muses during soft opening is because we knew we were actively giving you guys a month to get everything set up. That’s more than enough time to get two muses completely set up and do their applications. But as we said in this announcement and this ask, after opening, everyone was restricted to the activity requirements for muses.

Everyone focus on their muse(s) for now. If you guys are really active and good, we might even allow third muses. (:
