Have you heard this cover of the pretender? It’s literally one of my favorite things ever: youtu.be/8zH2JP4…

It’s a good cover, especially in that it keeps the spirit of the original while jumping off to a different genre (which is what really makes a good cover, imo). I think I still prefer the original, if only because it’s one of those songs that kind of defines the genre, you know? Not in influence, but, like... if an alien asked me what a modern rock song sounded like, I’d choose The Pretender.

ETA: Well, I /might/ choose The Pretender. (Immediately after typing this, Seven Nation Army came on and, well... that’s a great example, too)

Title Unrelated is a story of family, love, friendship, and identity.

An odd family travels to another world in search of their missing sister, but things are not as simple as they hope…

I’ve been following Title Unrelated for quite some time now and I really like it, it’s unlike any other webcomic I follow. So when I saw twapa call for guest art during the current chapter break, I wanted to give it a try. I’m glad I didn’t chicken out, I’m happy with the result. The funny thing is, Mara isn’t even my favourite character (I’m not entirely sure I have one favourite, though) but she’s so cute! Drawing/shading hair is always a struggle for me, but I really wanted to draw hers.

I was challenged to design an Elephant Shrew themed Superhero. So here is Sengi!

She's a speedster/fighter with the proportionate speed and appetite of an elephant shrew. In her day job she was a field biologist before taking up heroics. She mostly fights crimes against wildlife such as poaching and trafficking, but she also fights to help humans in less privileged parts of the world fight back against corruption and colonialist greed!

She prefers to run and fight barefoot or in minimal footwear.

Woo, actually kind of keeping the promise I made that I would start drawing more fanart for people. I hope I didn't screw up the details on this too badly, but it's Twapa and Axis from G Pike's Title Unrelated. The entire cast is great, but Axis is kind of my favorite so far and I have a thing for secret possible siblings/twins and snarky little guys.
