⦃ 🐾 ⦄ ——— There weren't any words Kyo could come up with at that moment that could describe how he was feeling. Two... Two was leaving. He was going to lose someone else that was precious to him. He’d already lost his family... he couldn’t lose Two as well. As far as Kyo was concerned, the other did have a place there... with him. He couldn’t let him leave...

        “ You can’t leave... not like this! You can’t do this, Two! ...Not to me.. ”

The others words tapered off as he spoke, eyes clenching closed tightly as he bowed his head, legs shaking beneath him.

This man was odd. Following behind the boy before kicking at the stranger’s heel to get his attention.

He felt familiar. It was an odd sensation. Never having met the boy before and yet he had managed to strike his interest with a glance. Quickening his pace so he could look at the other’s face close. Lips pursing as he tried to figure out what brought on that familiarity. 

“Who are you?” 

It wasn’t often someone piqued his curiosity with just a glance. Golden eyes glistening with intrigue.

Really, the other’s behavior was completely unneeded. He was perfectly fine. It was probably just a scratch, or a bruise. He wasn’t that weak in body, even if the dull throb proved otherwise. “Do you mind… I said I’m fine.”

⦃ 🐾 ⦄ ——— Kyo didn’t respond to the others words, continuing to look the other when his eyes finally made contact with the cut on the others face. Brushing his finger along the skin beneath it, the redhead pulled his hand back. There on his fingers, was the dark red liquid of the others blood from the cut.

          “ You wanna try again, kid? If you were fine, you wouldn’t be bleeding like this. ”

“Evidently, not very much… I’m just asking you if you would change it if you had the chance to.”

⦃ 🐾 ⦄ ——— Kyo stood there for a moment, thinking over the others response. He just wanted to know what he would do. Surely... answering the question wouldn’t do too much harm. And it wasn’t like the other would fully understand why he wished such a thing.

  “ Yes... Yes I would... change my fate... ”

Reaching out, Kyo gently touched the side of his face, his free hand moving to rest on the other male’s hip to bring him closer. In the short time they’d known each other, the two had become very close, going through more than Kyo could have ever imagined. And look where it had brought them.

      “ I feel the same way, Two. Hard to believe, with all the mistakes I’ve made in the past. I was able to have someone like you standing beside me. ”
