so there's a negan appreciation week,, a week dedicated to a character who's been on a show for less than a year and is only on a handful of episodes and every episode he's in he murders someone (basically a Really Bad Guy) but glenn rhee who was on the same show for seven seasons, in nearly every episode, only never being in episodes that are centred around certain characters which he never got himself, has had deadass nothing and was appreciated only when he died and has since been forgotten about despite him being the most loving and loyal character until the end,,,, ((wonder why))

See, the thing about letting Negan live is..

It’s just a baaaad idea. People who are leaders? They’re leaders for a reason. People listen to them, follow them, rally around them. So if a leader is EVIL, leaving them alive means leaving open the possibility of them escaping and seeking revenge with all the minions they can gather.

Negan even spelled this out in the finale, admitting that he should never have let Rick live. Quite frankly, Negan’s whole theory of “keep the leader alive so when you break their spirit they’ll bring their community in line” was kinda ridiculous. Because of the aforementioned leadership qualities. If you leave people leader-less though, they’ll probably fall in line and look to you as their new leader.

Keeping someone as dangerous as Negan alive is just a bad idea and that’s why I’m with Team Hilltop. Sure, they’re motivated by revenge but the result is the same. Also, Desus. 😁
