saw this post by @/vedetteluvnana on twitter a while back ago and i had to redraw it as clem
in another life, clem is just a high schooler trying to earn some volunteer hours for her college resume and aj is the little kid she’s partnered up with in the local school’s buddy program.
one thing that makes me truly love both clouis and violentine is how they keep clem so narratively intertwined with her s4 antagonists. it would have been easy to make her enemies just complete strangers, but to keep the three biggest opponents she goes up against (marlon, lily, and minnie) as people narratively relevant to her or the newest person closest to her? so good.
it just gives so much more depth to clem’s feelings in the fights and also does a much better service to louis and violet’s individual characters. so much better than just giving her an enemy to attack and easily hate. i want conflict!!! i want messy!!! i want real, normal, complicated feelings!!!!
i love that clouis and violentine shippers each just claimed a twin for their AUs. i think that’s really funny
