No Good Deed「Jongsuk & Kei」
Lee Jongsuk. She had never seen his face but she always wondered to whom that infamous name belonged to. She heard rumours of his reputation for taking on any sort of odd job that came his way and she figured it was a means of survival; a business tool for this new life. Those speculations were confirmed as she made herself comfortable in the what was used to be a principal’s office located at one of the several schools within Haesong. These types of public facilities acted as a headquarters of sorts to the leaders of the camp. Whenever she was in the office, it was usually to head out for supply runs or for simple missions and she had the feeling it was the latter of the two.
Leaning back against the tattered sofa she was sitting on, Jiyeon was informed of what was going on and what the mission entailed. There had been an illness spreading itself slowly amongst the residents which was robbing their lives, one by one. As a result, they were all turned into walkers or would be in the process of turning. No one knew how it came to surface but assumptions were made based on general knowledge of how influenza and the like travelled; usually through livestock. Since a handful of survivors caught the sickness, they were currently quarantined at one of the hospitals but the matter was kept quiet as the head of the camp didn’t want unwanted attention from Kangwon or Cheodong. Therefore, due to the shortage of medicinal supplies, their only option was to infiltrate Kangwon for what they needed. Thus, she was called in. In addition, she was assigned a partner and it appeared that her leader had a close connection to the person of interest.
Once she was filled in about her partner in terms of appearance and potential whereabouts, Jiyeon was off in search of the man. Since the closest and possible location was the camp’s bar, she thought she’d try her luck there. The ravenette didn’t think there’d be anyone inside at this time of day but she decided to check anyways. Entering the building, her eyes scanned the area. “Lee Jongsuk-ssi?” She called out.
