You don't come across Kenyans rapping in Japanese with award-winning Japanese vocalists on the chorus often. And when you do, you can bet it's going to be memorable. We love what Tweli G (Mark Kaigwa's younger brother) is doing with his music career at Hive Studios in Yamaguchi, Japan. He teamed up with Akane Kiyose (look her up on YouTube, she's got some solid covers of popular R&B work) and they put out Shine. Tweli said "It was great working with Akane...she did well and was so glad with what she added to the song." Tweli spoke about his creative direction on the song adding that he's been keen to experiment with a "one-shot" video. This isn't the first time he's done a lyric video before, Tweli's performances and concerts often feature lyric videos and animated videos he designs to accompany his act. Most notably his peformance at Lifehouse in Osaka and his Good Day lyric video.
