Chinese Zodiac Lantern
This is a fully functional electrical lamp that I designed and build using Adobe Illustrator and a laser cutting machine. Made out of wood and painted, detailed by hand; the lantern lamp illustrates the twelve animals of the Chinese Zodiac.
It took a lot of thinking, re-thinking and hard work to make this. There was also an incident where it fell onto the floor and I threw a hissy fit (please note it fell onto the floor first and that’s why I threw a fit, and it didn’t fall because of aforementioned fit erhem).
But I’m proud of what I did.
There will only be two complete lanterns made ever and one will be on sale at Dundee University DJCAD Degree Show ^_-
