milk, dagger, casket! (also ink if u want to)
mom, dad, three sisters. sisters are all younger than me. very uncontrollable. today they were arguing about where manchester is (scotland??? england?? france?? who knows) while my parents played table football and i read hamlet and drank chocolate milk. we were at a nice restaurant. this is all you need to know about my family.• dagger: tell a secret that you have
when i was little i used to hide in the back of the history barnes and noble so no one could find me and i could read all day. this drove my grandmother nuts.
• casket: believe in an afterlife?
one of my main areas of specialization when it comes to history is the history of the catholic church and european religion so it’s pretty difficult to stay detached from believing/not believing but honestly??? i know there’s something out there; i just don’t know what.
• poem: ares, can you hear? do you see me beating at the walls of your battlefield? of mine? aphrodite, o goddess of the morning sun that lit me golden as if i was entombed already: where are you now? i’ll kiss her hand and tell her i am sorry with lips of blood: it is my fault, o my queen; give me strength and call out to the earth’s benevolent darkness, welcome at last after the heat, torment of fire- hades? can you hear me now?
