Week Twenty-Three - Photography

For this week, I did a few different things in regards to photography. I entered an online photography "challenge" and also decided to create/locate several photo assignments to assign myself. This "craft project" I broke up into several weeks so that I can cover a lot more, in shorter posts.

So, let's start with my photo challenge!

Twenty20.com is a website, with mobile support, that allows you as a photographer to earn money for your work. Currently, they only support iOS and web users, the app is coming soon to Andriod. Twenty20 has "challenges" that you can enter to win based on a designated theme. They run multiple competitions at a time and you can enter as many as you like.

Twenty20 offers great direction on how to make the most of your experience on their site but the ultimate goal is to have fun and explore the depths of your creativity. A few of my favorite articles on the site include:

I love the layout of the site and it has so many options for challenge entries, some have cash prizes and others have features. 

I entered a challenge called "Architecture" which I felt was appropriate since I live in the Windy City and we have an amazing skyline. 

My entry did fairly well but was not highly voted but I enjoy look at my work and that of others. 

In the end, out of 2,222 entries I was ranked 953. I have to say...that was quite the accomplishment in my eyes.

Give me REAL cricket any day!! These two tests have been so enjoyable! Proper, tough cricket. Well done to Pup for a massive score (what ever it might be). And a big high five to Punter, sick of Aussie people beating up on our own. This call for new blood and a change, when the last two tests have shown the complete opposite. The 'old guys' have certainly proved their worth, hussey included! GO AUSSIE!!
