I'm not sure. It's a model from a photoset I found on tumblr a LONG time ago, she and the other models were wearing totally awesome retrofuturistic clothes and i thought she was super pretty so I scooped up her pic real quick and then here we are

I know this is a lot to ask, but could you make that post with the free and cheap comics about GotG a thing? Like do it for other comics. It would be so totally rad but its a lot to ask so dont do it if you dont want to :) It just seems like (1)

(2) You have your stuff together when it comes to reading comics and I've only just started and I'm honestly not sure where to begin. I like how you gave a list of series, that really narrows things down. It just doesn't help that say

(3) Captain America or Superman, who've been around forever, have so many series and volumes it's hard to know where to begins, you know? I can't be the only one who feels this way. When reading comics, its not just the money people have troubles

(4) with, its the fact that they dont know where to start. I know a ton of people who'd love to read the comics but can't and that's why I think what you did is such a great idea.

Oh goodness, I am so glad that that Guardians post has been helpful to you and so many other people! And I definitely understand how overwhelming it can be trying to figure out where to start with comics!

I am always happy to help with things like that, I tend to come up with a list specific to what someone has asked me about (usually a particular team or character they're interested in, or a topic like "women in comics") and I remain happy to do that if you have any specific questions!

As to the free/cheap comics part, that's a bit more particular to Guardians at the moment, because Marvel is special sales and such to promote it while the movie is out.

comixology is a good one to watch, they'll make posts about what they've got on sale that week and they've also got some reading guides.

flatbear is a fantastically informative comics person to follow as well, check out her FAQ for links to her recommendations and such!
