HOW   COULD   THINGS   GO   SO   WRONG   SO   QUICKLY?   CATRA’S   WORDS   HIT   HER   LIKE   A   TANK.      adora   grits   her   teeth,     arms   shaking   as   she   keeps   the   other   at   bay–––   she   and   catra   had   always   been   relatively   well - matched   when   it   comes   down   to   brute   strength.      seeing   catra   like   this   almost   hurt   more   than   the   scratches   and   punctures   from   the   other’s   claws.      left   leg   dips   as   adora   pivots,     letting   catra   over   power   her   so   that   she   could   topple   the   other.      once   catra   is   on   the   ground,     adora   bites   her   lip   to   keep   it   from   trembling.      she   looks   down   with   concern,     not   pity.

That doesn’t sound good. Whatever Elena had heard, he knows better than to push it aside as if it was NOTHING. Hand moves slowly towards his gun - JUST IN CASE - though he does not draw it just yet. For all he knows it could be someone completely innocent and NOT trying to kill them. “What do you think it was?” He whispers the words, to ensure he remains quiet enough that whoever is out there - they can’t hear him. “I swear - if it’s another zombie.”

And what a blast Sully had with that. A stubborn sick kid Nate? Not exactly a great time. That’s not the point right now, though, the point is - he REFUSES to be sick. “I’m fine, I promise.”
