they are very, very sweet with each other. almost entirely conflict free. deuce is doing his best to be a good cow even if he is still a bit rough around the edges, and trey feels like he needs to help him to his best capacity. in fact, it's so conflict free that trey may or may not be catching feelings for his earnest little cow, but he feels TERRIBLE about it. mostly because yuu treats him like this...

surely he is not preparing trey for something else in the future... but for now, trey feels terribly guilty, and he tries his best to hide it from deuce because he is here to help him produce milk! not care about such things like love and cute dates. only a SICK FREAK would want that with a hucow... right... right...

Not only Idia can tell when it's a clone, he also gets fucking pissssssssseeeeeed at Cater after. Like, oh, yeah, so I'm not good enough to get taken care of? So I can just be thrown away? Fine. Whatever. I didn't even NEED you, anyway. The clone thing offends him a lot and he would rather if Cater didn't send anyone if he is going to get what he sees as "scraps". The real deal or bust.

Yes, he is being a tsundere about it all. But don't worry, Cater is good at knowing how to stroke his ego just right...

Looking at the hucow AU and I'm so intrigued by the pairing of Cow Idia and Farmer Cater! Idia's milk is described as the rarest, so is his output especially low? Does Cater sell his Gamer Boy Breast Milk? I can imagine him having a whole Magicam dedicated to his farming adventures if hucow rearing is normalized in this AU.

Idia's main problem is that he is so so so very moody. Doesn't like the way his food is made that day? Decreased production. Cater was accidentaly too loud for his tastes? Decreased production. Lost an online game? Decreased production. The weather is a little bit too sunny? Decreased production. His favorite hoodie is 2% less soft than usual? Decreased production. Cater had to tend to another cow? Decreased production. By the time you need to milk him, he is probably already at a -50% output. His milk ends up being delicious and has a very high demand especially from fancy restaurants, but it is a STRUGGLE. Cater, despite being Like That, just striked the perfect balance needed for Idia to at least produce something even if he still complains about it, so they continue on with their little daily life.

Cater works on Yuu's farm, so while he doesn't sell Idia's milk directly, he does feel very proud that he is managing to help his friend (and his cow) out. The pay is suspiciously good, there are benefits, Yuu is cool... It's a lot of work between taking care of Idia and other cows, but he enjoys it. Idia himself also goes full smug gamer mode when he hears how much profit his milk made. I don't think he would admit it out loud directly, but Cater can see how he gets lol

Unfortunately, he cannot take pictures of Idia because he then stops producing for a whole week + also gets sad, so he posts a lot about the job, but some people think he is making Idia up because he never shows the actual cow lmao He does take photos of the other ones, but Idia remains everyone's conspiracy theory. The genius gamer blue hucow...
