Got these two lovely nymphs today at an expo!! The first one is an African Twig Mantis, (Popa spurca) named Garnet. The second one is a Timor Shield Mantis (Rhombodera kirbyi) named Topaz.

I'm very excited to introduce these two species to my collection 😋

Schizocephala bicornis, Indian grass mantis. An insanely cool and weird and all round amazing species of mantis. I’ve tried keeping small nymphs 2 times before which didnt end well unfortunately. Hopefully with this more established female nymph i’ll have more luck, they really are awesome, crazy thinly built.

Just playing about with my reversal ring, kinda pleased with this photo, though I'm still not getting the depth of field I want. L1 Popa spurca crassa nymph on a lichen, cleaning one of its feets.
