How to: Twiggy Liner and Lashes Tutorial
Ever wanted to achieve the doe eyes and crazy lashes, 60's supermodel Twiggy rocked throughout the era, well here is the tutorial for you.
What you will need:
Eyeliner
Mascara
False Lashes
Makeup Highlighter
Bronzer
Step #1
Make your eyes look enlarged to get that doe look by dabbing a good highlighter in the corner of your eyes, underneath and in the middle, like this one by Bloom Cosmetics.
Step #2
Deepen the crease in your eye by putting a matte brown shadow and blending it in. Use a colour darker than your skin tone like a bronzer or a dark brown shadow.
Step #3
Use a liquid liner to line the top of your eyes. Start off slightly winging the outer corner, then move inwards. As you draw the liner, you should gradually make the line thinner and then wing it downwards from the corner of your eye.Use the picture above for reference. A liner that you could use is this one by Stila.
Step #4
For lashes, for the best results use exaggerated false lashes (Eylure Intense False Lashes / 65th anniversary). However, if you do not wish to use false lashes, find a good mascara, curl your lashes, and layer them up but try to get them more 'fluttery' looking and not clumped up. As for the bottom lashes, using individual falsies (x) would work well to achieve the Twiggy look, but you could just get the top of your mascara wand and slightly clump up the bottom lashes.
And there is the finished Twiggy liner and lash look. Hope you liked and it gave you inspiration for more daring eye looks like this. x
