I'd definitely watch; I haven't played anything but Nier Automata but I feel like I'd enjoy any game from the series

it’s a bit of a weird series, really

in that chronologically Drakengard 3 > Drakengard 1 > Drakengard 2

and then out of Drakengard 1′s 5 endings, the final ending - Ending E, involved collecting 100% of the game’s weapons and then engaging in a rhythm game Genre Shift which ends with said weapons being scattered across the globe

so then Ending E > NieR Gestalt/Replicant > NieR: Automata

and every single one of these games is bleak as all hell

but god damn, they’re nothing if interesting

but yeah, i’m definitely gonna stream it then

i seem to have at least garnered interest from friends, so i’ll be looking forward to doing so once i have this new laptop c:

she’s interesting to play, her character is really fun in general and she has a lot of good interactions with the other officers she’s affiliated with

Given what you've said about your parents, I think it's a far better idea to just leave them in the dark for now. Your safety and happiness are the most important things and I worry that telling your family would make them cause even more trouble for you.

they won’t get shit in the way of karma, and that’s probably why i’m so bitter

they come from well-off families, they’ve succeeded in going where they wanted to go in life, and in the case of the trans girl out of the three, her family were super supportive and paid for basically everything for her without question

all whilst she gatekept my whole identity because i needed “an official diagnosis from a doctor to make sure i wasn’t just jumping on the bandwagon”

so yeah, karma isn’t shit on these people and i got the brunt of it all, including almost total irl isolation from when they all uprooted and left me to struggle with my depression alone which led to some crazy abandonment issues and anxiety problems, so that’s fun
