soft-blocked or blocked only , i don't really just unfollow cus being mutuals only + most people preferring breaking the mutual is more convenient (and polite imo) .

reasons are multiple , from not seeing any effort from the person to interact / not seeing possibilities myself of writing with said person despite wanting to , sudden excessive posting of negativity (good on them for venting it out, im not in the mental space to see that on dash or even help so bye) , vague posting (this one sends me into a rage lmaooo so many people love the fucking drama so i immediately drop them) , pity partying for attention of any kind- homie i'm literally listing my guidelines over here .

it's been a very very small handful of times that i let people in and we barely start plotting and only then realize their vibes are rancid (they're 'sneakily' trying to push for a ship, they arent respecting my character interpretation, they're godmodding / metagaming, not respecting my boundaries, or start acting on dash a certain way that immediately breaks a guideline of mine, etc) and honestly since i'm not friends with these people i just ... *soft blocks*

it's been said before and should be said again , being mutuals with someone does NOT mean you're friends with them . i consider friends those i talk to on the often , and even have convos outside of rp . if it's all just within rp then we're writing acquaintances and sure that can grow into more , and i DO like those i talk to even if it's rp only . i'm not saying i don't find value in these people lmao maybe for me the term 'friend' just means a stronger bond than just ... the average rp experience , if that makes sense .

but agh , idk the assumption that i'm someone's friend JUST from being mutuals really gives me such an ick at this point it might as well be a red flag . i continue to be a stranger on the internet to you pls , if u dont know my favorite color and dessert and animal and season as a minimum then don't consider me ur friend ankjfdhskdjfhkdf .

She tries to be gentle, quick. It was always painful pulling burrs from her fur, she could only imagine how it felt for the other to be going through such discomfort.

What's more, she could sense how intensely he was hating this. His muscles pulled taut, a spring being wound back, ready to explode. She couldn't take her time, for fear of unleashing some sort of fearful or irritated reaction.

Robin finally manages to pull the last burr from Link's pelt, lightly smoothing the dark gray-green fur back down. Then, carefully, she takes a step back, remaining on her knees so to not seem overbearing in his presence. She's just another wolf in the Faron Woods... Link had authority here, she wouldn't overstep it.

"I think I got them all. Maybe I should go and collect the burrs so other animals don't get them stuck." Robin mused quietly.

Nature had a reason for shedding such nuisances, but she still wanted to be considerate.

Boss Battle! because hehehe :3 i would LOVE to see it

okay so like you I'm gonna do two scenarios- fighting against one another vs fighting together as a unit.

First is fighting against one another.

I chose this song since it's the first time you are evenly matched with a boss in the game. Ninetails can use brush techniques like you, which means he can cancel your attacks if you're not quick enough.

Robin and Link, in my opinion, are matched in many ways. Both are competent swordsmen and wolves, with maybe Robin having the advantage on the latter. If it came down to either of them cracking over their responsibilities, it would be very tense... Who would come out on top to mercifully put the other down?

Now for working together-

This theme is both triumphant and intense- like a battle that is fought but there have been intense trials along the way. Parts of it definitely remind me of the Zelda soundtrack itself!

Robin and Link make for a good team. Somehow, over the course of their friendship, they're able to learn one another's movements and what predicts their next attack. Facing big bosses would be the two of them working together, probably with their senses too, to find the weak spot- an opened path- and surge in.

okay but like... idk WHY it sticks out to me personally per se, but like.... its the sheer fact that its VERY inspirational for me. like it motivates me to reply. maybe its because its a bit similar to how i naturally write? if that makes sense? Idk, there's just introspection - at least when we write together - and a thoughtfulness. its the care that your muses have, you're reading about how they working. like its the witnessing of the gears clicking inside of them. but you also balance that with what they are actually doing rather than what they are thinking. like there is a perfect balance between the two. ( perfectly balanced as all things should be )

this actually something that i dont freely admit often to either though, but i do actually like and prefer introspective, narrative styles a lot. i also enjoy academia style writing A LOT as well so im always jsut... HEART EYES whenever i still your writing. ^-^

im so happy i inspire you !! i do take a lot of care to make sure my muses thoughts & feelings come across in my writing ⸻ i'll go on & on about it until i remember we can't just be standing in the V O I D so i add in some movement ( like my last reply to you -- ray was talking a lot about light & dark but i felt it becoming ... kinda dense ? i needed to break it up so i had him draw out the triforce as if he was trying to show link his point physically as he spoke so it wasn't just lecture time with mr cadell )

the demon stared at the other across the campfire , through the embers that floated up , up , up into the darkness before fading away into nothing but ash . he listened well to his words ⸻ each word & letter was deeply listened to as he tilted his good side towards him . he speaks true .

of course he new little of the reasons why those who live in the shadows were casted into the twilight . it was a crime ⸻ one ray saw first hand : attempting to take the triforce . not like he didn't attempt to himself but he was wise enough to not get caught . but who decided it was a crime to do such a task ? of course those in power , those in the light who believe their way is the true & righteous path forwards . the only way forward . the only way . with such thinking they are blind to any other reasoning or judgements . that is their folly ⸻ the refusal to learn & to grow based such biased nature .

god is not on your side , hylians . they made everyone . what makes you think you are destined to rule like a tyrant that deems those who defy you as lessor .

but those in darkness allow their own make similar mistakes . they blame gods for their own follys as well ( like the hylians who believe their gods are the reason for their victories ) . sure , the gods are sick fucks but to point the blade to anyone else expect the goddesses is nonsense . yes , ray asided more with the interlopers but ... ah , no matter . he if is to pick a side he would not pick at all .

light & dark are the same at the end . to forgo one brings naught but one's downfall . to believe you are better than your other is where your hubris grows enough to bring your own fall.

he turns , now looking off into the darkness where the creatures of the night move . owls , rats , bats , wolves ... none of them bothered him . they carry on doing their own tasks ... but people hate them just the same . everything could become someone's bane . regardless , there is a lesson to be learned here . he is sure that link did not have the full picture . ray takes his his finger & draws the triforce into the dirt .

❝ ... the interlopers attempted to take the triforce & were sent the the twilight realm ... another caught out the triforce . ❞ he taps the top of the symbol : the triforce of power . ❝ ... lord ganondorf sought power but for the gerudos that lived within the harsh reality of the desert ... horrible dry heat without mercy ... then set to freeze to death in the night . the hylian king at the time cared little for those in the desert : slaughtered them like animals . called them thieves & hung them in the gallows ... but then , pure power comes to him ... ❞ he draws again , crossing out the other two triforce pieces .

❝ yet the triforce did not agree : he was unbalanced . it sees neither light nor darkness ⸻ good nor evil . it sees nothing but power , wisdom & courage . of course he was gifted power , zelda was given wisdom & link of course ... courage . yet for his crimes he was killed ⸻ or well , the sages tried . then because they could not die to his part of the triforce he was sent the twilight realm ... the hylian king no longer knew why such a place exists : they use it for their own means . ❞ finally , he crosses out power . ray stares down at it for a moment before he slides his hand over & the dirt until his symbols are gone .

❝ ... i suppose i align myself in similar rules as the old relic . i care not for light nor dark . good nor evil . i care if you are strong enough to survive . wise enough to learn from your failures & have enough courage to carry on when the world is against you ...ah , but enough listening to an old man prattling on . ❞

if he could sigh , he would . but what good would that do ? he knows the reason link remained alert and paranoid against him , and should stallord be fully aware of what he was forced to do moments ago he'd understand it even more .

there might be a tinge of frustration though nothing that would upset him or make him change his mind about things , as now that he had been freed from zant's control he finds it near necessary to be of aid on their quest .

" would it . . . calm you if i stay still . . . instead of following ? " a genuine question , one he speaks calmly with that hoarse and worn out voice . tired ; he was not supposed to be alive anymore .

such was his curse , or blessing depending on how one was to see it . his memories of death mountain fading away , replaced by a sea of nothing but sand and dust yet silently assigned the task of protecting the mirror of twilight .

he doesn't wait for an answer , instead just rests on the ground keeping his gaze fixed on the hero .

perhaps nothing he did would make things better . perhaps this exact thing would actually make it worse - but he's trying , in his own way , to really prove that he wasn't going to bring any harm to them anymore .

Link only had distant memories from before about the Calamity. He had the impression that he'd been to this fountain before, the Fountain of Courage, when he'd first been assigned to Zelda and she wished to visit each of the sacred fountains. He wasn't sure why she picked the Fountain of Courage first--perhaps out of convenience or perhaps because she couldn't go to the Fountain of Wisdom yet, he couldn't be sure. But either way, when he stood in the waters before the great statue now, staring up into her expressionless face, he could remember none of the previous visit.

The monsters around this fountain had been dense, not particularly strong but many, and his clearing of the area had been interrupted by a Blood Moon, meaning he had to do twice the work of before. And the water felt cool on his arms after all of that, refreshing, but the silence of the goddess seemed almost overbearing.

Only for a different voice to drift out of the darkness, Link's arms flailing with a startled splash as he tried to see who it was, grabbing for a weapon at the same time. It was a familiar shape, or at least a familiar dress, and he almost dropped the vicious sickle into the water as he realized who it was.

Tapping his chest, he shook his head slightly as he tapped his temple with his fingers. Reaching towards both shoulders, he pulled his hands away, curling them into fists. Pointer and middle fingers of both hands pin together before tapping on top of each other. Pointer finger crooked forward, tapping just in front of the middle of his forehead. << I didn't know Heroes were known for Wisdom. >> he commented, carefully swimming towards the figure. It could be a trick, but it made sense--to see another Hero at the Fountain of Courage
