there is a wall called the serpentine. it runs the length of the mere that is closest to the city’s western edge. it is a magical forcefield. some say that in certain lights it resembles a large snake. the military patrols the area as well.

i don't think i care for that. can it be dug under? ha!

i am jaime by the way, although i think you can still read that somewhere in the mirror. what should i call you?

that is a topic of controversy among locals. many are displeased that the required fee is expensive. the government does not seem fond of the commonfolk visiting the sacred site.

the site was sacred long before anyone decided it was so, i am sure. how do they enforce it? have they built a wall?

yes it does. if i could grow trees, i would offer to make a climbing tree for you. i am sorry that you do not have one to climb.

it is not quite the same, but i find that scaling buildings is just as entertaining.

I do climb buildings sometimes...but trees are alive, and they make nicer sounds I think. Does that make sense?
