What made my heart sink the most was realizing that neither Jinx nor Vi could ever exist in the same universe, the second I saw the parallels I knew that either one of them was going to die. Okay i know we all have probably had our fair share of arcane analysis already but i NEED to talk about this scene for a minute.

This scene is one of the scenes that hit me the hardest in season 2. It’s immensely beautiful, for one, but so is every other frame in this show i mean come on. Masterpiece. But anyway.

Viktor was since season 1 my favorite character and i loved loved loved his arc, and i think this scene here is the point you can point to where the switch is definitely flipped. Viktor is becoming this bad, horrible version of himself, this monster and Sky knows it and she SAYS IT TO HIM!!

He’s telling her he’s going to miss their talks and she looks at this man she loved, every second he gets further and further away from his own humanity and she knows, he can’t miss their talks because missing is a human emotion and Viktor… isn’t human anymore. He’s destroying her to gain power and that’s just a non-Viktor, non-human thing to do.

Even with all the magic themes this show is so incredibly human and raw and it isn’t scared to tell you to your face that this thing you’re doing, erasing what you think are your faults, your wounds, your scars, that’s not a good thing. You’re erasing you humanity along with it.

I was so devastated by this scene in the most beautiful way and UGH i cant get enough oh and the TWENTY ONE PILOTS SONG AS WELL—-
