Results of The Survey

If you haven’t been continuously checking my posts for this last 28 hours, this post will probably make less than no sense. Simply put, it all started at 3 pm yesterday, when I was sent this ask, in which an anon wondered: “is evan hansen a twink”. Within about two minutes, I had received three other asks on the matter.

Soon enough, the characters of Jared Kleinman and Connor Murphy were dragged into question, along with Zoe Murphy and Alana Beck. Twink, twunk, otter, bear, lipstick lesbian, chapstick lesbian, soft butch? These questions bounced off the minds of my followers. Soon, a phenomenon was born, which I lovingly named #twinkcourse, or The Adventures of the Twink Anons.

After receiving so so so so so so many passionate asks on the matter (and somehow losing no followers in the process (shout out to y’all for that seriously)), I decided to find a real way to get The Truth. I made a survey. Here, nearly an entire day after posting the survey, the answers will be revealed. 95 of you submitted your thoughts. Here are the results:

Nearly 35% of you admitted to be confused as to what the answers of this survey even meant, though, so I’m sure some of the answers are a bit skewed. But. Nonetheless. The people have decided. They’ve made their voice heard. The results are in. .... ...... (*drum roll*)

By very narrow margins indeed, Evan Hansen is, in fact, a twink (sorry @hotdamnitslaura). Funnily enough, the two highest results for Connor Murphy are “a twink” and “the opposite of a twink,” so .... take that with whatever meaning you’d like. Jared Kleinman is a twunky twink, the people say. As we all suspected, Zoe Murphy is a soft butch. Finally, the one and only Alana Beck, by the only overwhelming majority of this whole debacle, is a chapstick lesbian. These are the results. Thank you for your time. The #twinkcourse has ended.
