Twins 2, Orioles 0 : Double the Pleasure - Ervin Santana pitches a complete game, 2-hit shutout to blank the O's @ home as Minnesota takes the first 2 games of the Series. Dylan Bundy duels w/ Santana for 7 innings, allowing just 2 runs on 6 hits, he walks 3 & strikes out 7. Bundy allows a single to OF Byron Buxton in the 5th to give Minnesota a 1-0 lead & gives up a solo homer to Brian Dozier (#6) in the 7th. That was all Santana would need, as he strikes out 6 & walks 2, going the distance for the Twins. He wins his 7th game of the year, it is the right-hander's 18th complete game, his 2nd this season. Despite a rain shower that went on all night, the weather suited Santana just fine. He lowers his ERA to 1.80 and improves to 4-0 with a 0.31 ERA on the road. The O's get just 1 man into scoring position all night as they are shutout for just the second time this year. Baltimore has now lost 9 of 14.
