Wanna do a proper sona update but too lazy to...
Hey, if you still need help figuring out what to do with your sona, my shape-shifter sona is quite literally just me. (Literally her human form is just me.) She's got a few differences from me to make her more unique, but for the most part I just went full on self-insert/Mary Sue with her because it's fun and I wanted to. (She's quite literally me personality and appearance wise, but with lore unique to her and powers I wish I had or thought were cool, and while I did give her some weaknesses, she's still super OP because, let's be so for real here, OP OCs are fun.)
If your goal is like- you but different, you could do what I did with her. Go ham and have fun with it. Be cringe and be free.
First, I love shape-shifting characters, they got so much possiblities and freedom with their lore. The concept is cool and I don't think it's a Mary sue at all.
Second, when I first created my sona its only purpose was to give my online friends something to be able to draw and imagine me as. Technically they were the one who chose the shadow concept for me, since I gave them hard time to know any info about me.
The one I have in my pinned post is her second design update. She actually got more designs updates but I didn't post anything official yet, I will when I'm really really satisfied with the design.
As for personality, I kind of just gave her mine. That being the only thing she got from me. The only trouble I had was with the lore, as I never really thought about it before. At some point I was gonna make her a god, an op character. Then decided against it after some thinking, I wanted something that I'll have fun with.
The only thing I could think of is her being an eldritch kind of thing, I love eldritches concept, the creepy vibes, the unlimited possiblities.
I'm just stuck with her unbringing. Like who the fuck gave birth to this??
But ig a sona doesn't need a background if it represents me, right?
