What did you bake?

Tonight I made (and am making) a bunch of lemon loaves, and I made the dough to bake four loaves of bread tomorrow!  Tomorrow I’m making the dough to make more loaves on Wednesday, and making jars of apple cider mix!  Since my extended family can’t do a big thanksgiving this year, I’m making everyone big gift baskets of baked goods instead!

20. Surprised kiss, for who ever you want!

Bucky was a very early riser; after all, running a bakery-slash-coffee-shop tended to mess with the sleep schedule. And yet, as he woke up in Mika’s apartment, he was surprised to find her side of the bed surprisingly empty. He checked his phone to find only two messages from Steve making fun of him for being out so late - again - before reaching down for his discarded tshirt, pulling it on to stave off the morning chill. The light was on in the other room, and he followed it to the kitchen to find Mika, her back to him as she worked on something. Her headphones were in, and she was quietly humming along to whatever song was playing. 

Slowly, he crept up behind her, waiting for his opportunity to strike. She finally put down the ball of dough she was working on, and he snuck his arm around her waist, holding her tight to his chest even as she nearly leapt out of her skin. She let loose a few words in Romanian that were probably less than polite, putting a hand over her racing heart despite it being covered in dough.

“You scared me!” she admonished, turning in his arm. He apologized by leaning in for a kiss, feeling her heart beat aggressively against his chest. 

“You’re up early. What are you working on?” he asked. She slid her arms over his shoulders, mindful not to get anything on him.

“Morning bread.” she said. “It should be ready in about a half hour.”

“‘Morning bread’? Is that some traditional Romanian breakfast?” he asked, making her giggle and shake her head.

“No, it’s just something I made up.” she said, carefully tucking and shaping the bread. He stayed where he was, resting his chin on her shoulder and watching her work. 

“This is it, huh?” he asked, grinning as her hands paused while she tried to figure out to what he was referring. “Way back at the bake off, I kept trying to figure out what your specialty was.”

“Well you asked about cupcakes, wedding cakes, pies, and patisserie, and got no’s every time so...” he could hear the smirk in her voice, but also a bit of pride. “But yea. Bread is my favorite. I’m excited for you to try it.” She put it in a tin, then slid the tin into a proofing bag. She turned her head as far as she could, pressing a kiss to his nose. “Is this where you’re staying all morning?” 

“If you’ll let me.” he said, sidestepping with her as she moved to wash her hands at the sink. She giggled, her ponytail gently hitting him as she shook her head.

“Well I’m fine with it, but I should warn you-” she was interrupted by the front door swinging open and hitting the wall next to it.

“Your doorman has no manners! He watched me struggle with this for like five minutes!” Sutton said, holding up her paper bags and a drink carrier with three coffee cups. Bucky immediately stepped away, leaning against the opposite counter and pretending he wasn’t instigating a cuddle fest in the kitchen. Sutton rolled her eyes, going to pile her stuff on the table. “No need to be shy, Bucky. The jig is up. Actually, it kind of has been for a long time.”

“Yea, I kind of figured.” he sighed. He looked between the two smirking women, neither of which seemed the least bit uncomfortable. Mika pressed another kiss to his lips before going to greet her friend. He sighed before following her, actually feeling more relieved than anything. 

At least now there was no more stress of sneaking around.

Can you tell me about what Cordelia’s relationship is like with the other Academy kids?

Well she’s always been a bit of an outsider, being the only one her age and the only one who’s known a life outside of the academy, but one-on-one she’s got much more nuanced relationships with them:

Luther: Major big brother instincts going on. He’s got them already, but with Cordy, someone who’s actually younger than him, it turns up to eleven.

Diego: Sees Cordelia as a nuisance, someone who shouldn’t have been brought in to begin with, but is also the most interested in finding out how she got her powers.

Allison: Not quite rivalry, but pretty damn close. Everyone knows Allison is the pretty one, but this new little girl coming in is the cute one, and Allison doesn’t know how to handle there being another girl in the spotlight (since Vanya is basically kept secret until adulthood). Over time their relationship improves, and they form a mutual understanding that they’ll have each other’s backs as the only two powered girls in the house.

Klaus: Starts dating Cordelia when she’s 16 and he’s 22. She’s impressionable and he’s high as a kite most of their relationship, but she also knows how and tends to manipulate him when he’s in that state. They break up shortly before Reginald’s death, which is a good thing since they’re both so unhealthy for each other.

Five: They never really got to know each other. Cordelia was only 7 when Five left, two years after coming to the academy. Thanks to Reginald’s intense training, that’s not enough time to form any sort of real kinship.

Ben: He’s kind of with Diego, suspicious of Cordelia but more open. He’s mostly concerned that her powers are too dangerous, like his. After he starts “haunting” Klaus, he regularly urges him to break up with her.

Vanya: The two outcasts. Vanya always saw Cordelia as more of a sister than any of the others. When the others were off saving the world and before Cordy was old enough to join them, Vanya and Cordelia had “sister sleepovers” in Vanya’s room. They keep in touch after Vanya leaves the academy as well.

Well now I gotta know what it is

Okay I’m gonna butcher the explanation, but basically it would be a writing challenge where you have to write every day for the whole year. You give yourself a minimum word count for every day that could be whatever number you want. If you think you’ll be able to write 400 words a day, that’s great! Only 10? That’s awesome too! Progress is progress! And you would set a word goal for the end of each month (which can totally change month to month) that reflects how much you think you’ll write that month. For instance, I’ve been consistently writing at least 200 words every day for the last three months, so my monthly goal would be 10,000 words. And everyone would give updates when they have the chance and if they feel like they won’t make their goal, they could ask everyone else for motivation and support! I know it wouldn’t work for everyone, but I’ve gotten so much more productive with my writing since I started writing consistently, every single day, and I think it might be fun if a whole group of people did it together and cheered each other on

Ok I’m gonna talk about an oc I haven’t excatly debuted yet but have been figuring out the kinks with @randomestfandoms-ocs

She’s a flash oc, Barry’s younger sister, scientist at Star labs, a speedster, bisexual, possiblely dates Cisco, maybe ends up with the legends. Adult FC is Lily Collins, young is Malina Weissman.

Do you have other ocs besides Maggie? If so could you tell me about them please?

So, my newest one is Theodosia Harker! Her daddy’s a vampire hunter, who was invited in by the council as Mystic Falls has itself a little vampire problem. He’s been training up Theodosia since she could hold a stake, so she can carry on the family business, but Theo craves a normal life. And that’s what she thinks she’s gonna get, when she enrols in Mystic Falls High and makes friends with Caroline Forbes… Oh, you sweet summer child. Anyway, the love interest is Damon because I’m a sucker for parings that snark at each other until they finally break and start dating. I’m still constructing her but for the most part I’ve got my ideas and her personality down. I’m not entirely sure where I could slot her story right now, if I do end up really writing it instead of just doing little drabbles here and there, but we’ll work on it. 

One that I’ve had in my mind since I first saw Age of Ultron is MX2709A (a.k.a Max). She was created (hence the no actual name) by a scientist who was HYDRA affiliated but was kind of pushed to the side. She was raised in an underground bunker, not socialised, basically a rat in a cage. Though she is of little use as she is, she’s proof that the genetic modifications, along with alien tech, can create a weapon. She’s the beta run. Anyway this absolute mess gets kinda adopted by the Avengers because there is no other option. I mean, what else can they do? And it throws a wrench into the Sovokia Accords because this is a whole situation not planed for, and this thing doesn’t even understand what a government is what are we going to do? Also Clint teaches her to say fuck, but that’s a story for another time. 

I also have a Criminal Minds character who… Doesn’t actually have a name yet. Victoria Pedretti fc, sweet cinnamon roll if we still do that meme, child prodigy who wants to follow after her uncle, an FBI agent. But, y’know, she wasn’t really made for the more active part of being an agent, so she put that big brain of hers onto profiling, with the set goal of joining the BAU. 

And those are the ones with more than a scribbled line to them!  I’m sorry this is so long, I went too hard.
