Riddle Rosehearts
Being picked up:
A bit surprised when you first picked him up.
He was tending to the hedgehogs when you suddenly scooped him up and spun him around, thanking him for his tutorship. Riddle immediately flushed in shock at both the audacity and the suddenness however he somehow quickly schools his expression into a calmer one, even has his cheeks and ears burn.
When you finally set him down, he sighed, staring down at the papers with a large ‘B’ stamped onto the front of it on your most recent test. Much better than the ‘F’ and ‘D’s he usually saw mottling your papers. A small smile warmed his face.
“Yes, well as to be expected. You are studying with the top student rank in grades,” He said, proudly.
“Ahem, however next time, a bit more… decorum could be effective in the future. You don't need to pick me up, My Rose. Meet me later in my room. I'll go over your answers with you and serve some tea and a tart.”
Picking up S/o:
I feel like Riddle has a good chance of picking you up. Despite his short stature he had to be held back by three teachers when Floyd pissed him off in the entrance ceremony.
I feel like if it's a longer walk while he's carrying you he would start to shake towards the end, however he wouldn't drop you either. He is shown to have bad stamina.
If he picks you up I feel like it would be for a formal reason, because you got hurt, or because you asked him to. He wouldn't be the type to randomly pick you up without good reason.
“Your knee… you've given yourself quite the gouge. Come, let's get back inside so we can disinfect and dress it properly.” Riddle's arms slid under your knees and behind your shoulders before he picked you up with ease.
Eying your bewildered expression he smiled, “Surprised? What Dormleader would I be if I couldn't even pick up an injured classmate? Don't belittle my shorter stature for lack of muscle or will.” Riddle said, half teasing before walking you into his room to patch you up.
Leona Kingscholar
Being picked up:
Surprised would be an understatement. However he masks it well.
“Is picking me up some type of personal challenge? Tch, do you want a reward?” Big talk for the guy that's currently suspended in another person's arms right now. Drop him on his ass and find out if cats really do always land on their feet.
Leona absolutely hates it when you pick him up and carry him off somewhere when he's too lazy to care to get up himself. The looks he gets in the halls from students passing by makes him squirm right out of your arms to walk ahead of you instead. Picking him up is the gas for his motivation.
He does commend you on how strong you are though. Leona isn't exactly light or short. Muscle weight does add onto things in the long run.
His herbivore surprised him.
Picking up S/o:
Yeah. He can definitely pick you up.
It doesn't matter the size or the weight. This man was able to lift and fire a thunder spear on his own in Book Six. I think he could handle picking up a human.
However, that doesn't mean he's picking you up often. This man is still lazy and unless it's mostly benefitting himself he's not going to put in much effort. But he's definitely capable of picking you up. He can probably toss you up in the air and catch you with ease too.
“Oi. Put me down. People are staring.” Leona wiggled himself free from your arms before shifting down and picking you up instead, walking down the hall while his tail casually flicked to and fro behind him.
While carrying you after switching the roles, he glared at the students staring. “Tch, what are you looking at? Never seen someone being carried before?”
Azul Ashengrotto
Being picked up:
Freezes in utter shock and slight mortification, his smile dropping before he collects himself just as quickly.
“And what do you think you're doing?” He adjusts his glasses with his pointer and middle finger while Jade and Floyd snicker in the background, causing Azul to cast a glare at them that by all means spells out ‘shut up.’
The tension in his frame gives away the fact he's at least a bit uneasy at the fact you can drop him at any given moment.
Not to mention his face is slowly turning a shade of red he can't hide with any of the excuses he's spitting out.
“Put me down, immediately.” He demands, squirming himself slightly in your arms, muttering something about how unprofessional it is to be seen like this around others.
Picking up S/o:
Azul absolutely can pick up his s/o. It's been shown while he isn't very athletic and slow on land, his octopus strength is a completely different thing. Floyd even having stated in the past his grip strength is almost impossible to get out of once he's got a grip on you.
I feel like unless it's a state of emergency, you would have to demand for Azul to pick you up. And even then he'd view it as more of a deal. What will he get if he picks you up? Why do you want to be picked up so badly? And why should he pick you up and waste his previous time? Let the negotiations begin.
“You’ll pick me up because you love me.”
“That’s… That's preposterous! What kind of negotiation is that? Spinning my own feelings against me? It won't work, my dear. You'll need a better reason than that.”
It does work, though. In the end of the “negotiation” he's carrying you around in his arms and Jade and Floyd are watching with bemused interest.
Kalim Al-Asim
Being picked up:
He doesn't mind. Funny you think he would. If anything he just swings an arm around your shoulders and kisses your forehead, letting you take him wherever you want him to go.
He does make sure you know you could've just asked him though. He could've walked wherever you're carrying him off to. And if you just want to hold him well, he’ll happily comply with that one. Shirking his housewarden duties for a bit to snuggle with his s/o? Count him in.
Absolutely worries about if you'll accidentally strain yourself carrying him. Kalim knows he doesn't weigh much and he doesn't want to seem like he's belittling you either. But he cares about you and doesn't want to see you hurt, especially due to something involving him. Isn't he supposed to be the one protecting you?
He will laugh though if you bounce or swing him around.
I mean, it's Kalim. The only disappointed look you're going to get is likely from Jamil, because that guy is uptight as hell 24/7.
Picking up s/o:
I feel like with him it would be dependent on if you're smaller and lighter than him. Kalim doesn't have a lot of strong physical feats compared to the other housewardens, but he does have a bunch of little siblings.
I feel like if he could pick you up it'd almost be a habit in a way. He has lots and lots of younger siblings who probably hang off of him, so he's probably had his fair share of picking people up, especially children.
If he can't pick you up and you're a bit dejected about it, he will start lifting weights and stuff here and there to work out to one day be able to pick you up. You're his s/o, he'd go to the moon for you if it was possible.
All in all I think it's a 50/50 for him.
Vil Schoenheit
Being picked up:
It started one day because you were in a rush to get inside from the rain and he didn't want to walk through a puddle in expensive shoes. Not only would his shoes be wet, but so would his socks and feet. Which left him no choice but to face the puddle or to walk around the very large puddle.
You weren't having it and you picked him up like a little damsel and carried him across the puddle and inside. He was impressed, Rook was impressed, you were cold.
The first time you picked him up, he'd froze up slightly. It wasn't the first time he'd been picked up of course, but it was the first time you picked him up. However Vil soon relaxed into it and took in the fact his potato was strong enough to pick him up and run him inside and out of the rain.
He isn't outright embarrassed to be picked up, rather he takes it with his chin up. Vil stores the knowledge away for later activities. And if he needs to be picked up in the future regardless of if it's for hanging something or for a photo shoot, he knows who to go to.
He's absolutely teaching you the correct stances for picking people up if you don't know already. He doesn't need his potato getting muscle strain if he can help it.
Picking up S/o
Yes. He can pick you up.
He's thrown Floyd before I think he can manage picking you up and walking around. He's taken multiple self defense classes too, so he doesn't worry about picking you up, he worries about the possibility of whether he still looks good while picking you up.
Like the others he won't pick you up for any random reason, but he is more lenient in certain situations I feel?
If you want to be picked up for a picture he'll meticulously plan and then pick you up, sometimes for multiple takes until he sees perfection in the picture. If you want to be carried to bed he'll carry you to bed. And of course if you're injured or in danger, he'll haul you up to get you out of there.
And if he's busy, he'll just have Rook pick you up instead.
Idia Shroud
Being picked up:
He's the type to shriek and everything when being picked up. As jumpy and skittish as he already is he might literally die in your arms if you pick him up at random in a public setting.
His face would be bright red, his hair would be bright red, and he'd be pleading to be put down while hiding behind his hands or in your shoulder.
In a more private setting Idia would calm down more, but I still don't think he'd like it really. He'd still freeze up like his whole body just took a screenshot and he'd be clutching his imaginary pearls.
“Eh.. eh!? P-Put me down! I can walk on my own you know… I don't need to be paraded around like a damsel.”
Relents and gives up if you don't put him down. Oh well, at least he tried.
Picking up S/o:
I feel like it's a possibility that he could pick up his s/o. But it's really a why would he pick up his s/o?
Idia wouldn't be able to pick you up for very long. He has moderately low stamina and is reluctant to even show his face in P.E. But knowing his work he needs to pick up some types of heavy machinery every now and then. With his Height advantage added to that, it's possible.
He wouldn't be able to be nagged into picking you up, and Idia would find some way to avoid it.
Funnily enough, I feel like if he's in cosplay and not in public and feels confident enough in the cosplay, he would pick you up if it's something the person he's cosplaying would do.
He absolutely will not be picking up his s/o in a public setting. He's barely out in the public to begin with. So yes, I feel like he could pick you up, but he would be held back by his confidence levels.
Malleus Draconia
Being picked up:
The definition of wide eyed and mouth open.
Upon being picked up his entire body tenses up and he freezes almost as still as those Gargoyle statues he likes so much. The surprise turns to shock not at the fact that he's being picked up, but at the fact it's his Child of Man picking him up.
The shock melts into a type of enjoyment or affection, and he stays very still to enjoy the moment. Malleus doesn't quite care who's around to see the Malleus Draconia being carried around by his s/o.
“To think a child of man such as yourself could pick up I.” He grinned, fangs showing. “I.. I find I do not mind the sensation. If it is with you, of course.”
Malleus is quite proud of his s/o, having the strength to pick up a fae such as himself that can change the weather simply with his mood, or crumble rocks with his bare hands. It is almost amusing to him, in a way.
Picking up s/o:
Yes. He can and will pick you up.
Out of everything Malleus clings to the need of connecting with others, and when it comes to his s/o, that feeling is increased by tenfold. He needs to know that you love him and he begs to be cherished.
When you ask him to pick you up, he does not hesitate for more than a moment, rather than the others showing hesitation, he shows delight. His child of man wants to be picked up? Well then, he'll pick them up.
It doesn't matter what size you are, he can pick you up and carry you around regardless of it. I mean, he can carve objects with his bare hands and move fast enough to appear as a blur in photos. He is the strongest out of the dorm leaders and the strongest in the entire school.
You don't have to nag or beg him to pick you up, ask and he shall deliver. Just know once you start, he's not going to put you down very easily. Malleus finds he quite enjoys the feeling of carrying his s/o in his arms. It's another way he can assure no harm comes to them.
